Marq, thanks! I didn't notice it until you pointed it out! I'm having it corrected right now. Thanks. Eric, the Glasurit decals I have are blank, just like the Glidden ones. The Glidden ones are writen on with a marking stylus by hand. If you wanted to fill out the Glasurit one you could by a transferable letter kit from an office supply store and put the code in yourself.

Seriously, Jay-were the 'high voltage' stickers purposely misspelled like that on the earlier cars?

Jay...I've been trying to obtain a Glasurit paint decal for my 308. ICP sells them, but only in the most popular paint colors (red, black, yellow). Unfortunately, mine is Glasurit color code 700 (Grigio Dark Metallic). Since ICP prefers to get a build-up in demand before ordering a batch of decals with this color code, it appears that I'll be on a waiting list for quite some time. I have a couple of close-up pics of the Glasurit label, and have been contemplating trying to have it duplicated somehow on foil. Any ideas -- do you have this item available? Thanks.

No haven't seen another Glidden sticker, but I can get the Glasuirit ones also. Coolant will also be $10. I'm picking up the "High voltage" decal and a "Catalyst" decal for 308's. I'll post pics when I get them.

Paul, I know they are expensive, that's why I had my own made.

glidden
This is a bad pic, it looks very nice in person. It is "aluminum" foil like the original
agip
This is a sticker that goes over the existing plate. And has "aluminum" lettering. I had these made for my car. They are the same size as the originals that came off of a 75 308 GT4. I have extras for $10 US each.

Terry, You are absolutely correct about Italian car parts. If there is enough left you may be able to have it silk screened. I have a guy who has done some silk screens on dash parts for me and in some cases redoing the artwork. If anyone is interested you can email me for the info.

Terry,

Your 1977 308 GTB has an Agip lubrication plate riveted on the passenger side. The frame nearby has the car's S/N stamped into the metal tag-like area. The emissions plate should be riveted on the driver's side of the engine bay.

The VIN plate and non-catalyst sticker should be on the driver's door jamb.

I've heard that ICP has a nice Agip plate and non-catalyst sticker. Perhaps you can clean up that part of the frame where the S/N is stamped. I'm not sure if ICP has the metal emissions data plate. Their VIN plate comes blank.

I'd say that you would have a hard time finding any blank or repro VIN plates for any vehicle. The "authorities" frown on that sort of thing.

Jay, which glidden decals do you have...I bought one from "I" car parts for a ridculous amount and it is incorrect size and data....they charged me $30 bucks for it!!

Terry, iF Jay doesn't have the plates you are looking for I would try Superperformance in the Uk...decent prices and if the dollar gets some more strength a decent exchange rate.

On the note of "I" Car Parts prices...I get a real kick out of the 308 Instrument Panel Light kit...$27 bucks for 6 sylvania bulbs....now that balls...

Italiancarparts.com is about the most expensive place I have ever heard of. I am floored by some of their prices: window fuzzy strip kit = $79 ??? T Rutlands sold me 8 feet of the stuff for $35 or so. K & N air filter for my '77 GTB = $130. I got mine from Advance Auto Parts for $74.

I would hate to even think what they would charge for a new data plate! Anyhow, J Grande email on the way...

Terry, I've had a lot of the stickers and plates remade for my car and I have extras. I've been selling a few of them on ebay. I have the Agip plate, along with the Glidden paint, radiator sticker and a few others. E-mail me directly and I can give you more info. Which car do you have? It's not in your profile.

The data plates mounted on the chassis up top on the sides of the engine bay in my car are in horrible condition. Faded and illegible. One gives all the info about emissions and such, on the drivers side, the one on the passenger side is smaller and gives VIN and such. These are the small metal plates that glue and pop rivet into place.

Where can I get new ones? Any ideas?

thanks!
