Neil, for info I (328GTS) had a clock running and not running, just like yours. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the clock, a new battery and keeping it charged cured the problem. Apparently the clock is sensitive to low voltage - the car would start, although not convincingly, so I didn't realize the connection clock vs.voltage until the battery gave up, a new one installed and the problem disappeared at the same time. brgds Kurt |

On my 77 there are 2 screws holding it in. The one on the lower right side of the panel is readily apparent. The other is on the upper left side, behind the panel. It's accessible from underneath the panel and can be seen with a mirror and light. Other option is to just unscrew the 2 knurled nuts on the backside of the clock and pull it out the front of the panel. |

The car is a USA model. The 2 gauges (clock and oil temp) are adjacent to one another, under the left side of the dash (the first 308's placed them there, later cars the instruments were moved to the center console I believe). It is not obvious how this dash section comes apart. Hoping someone out there has run into this before.... |

I'm assuming you have a RH drive vehicle... If this is the center console, start by removing the air conditioning ducts (pry out the adjustable vents from the front). Then unscrew the two phillips screws from directly below the A/C ducts (bottom of console unit). Pull down on the unit to unhook at the top and you should have access to the back. |

On my 1977 308GTB, the clock and oil temp gauges are located on the lower left of the dash. Does anyone know how this dash comes apart? My clock is erratic, i.e. sometimes it runs, sometimes not......not sure if I have a faulty connection, otherwise the clock is going bad.....any inputs would be appreciated...... |
