Remove upper seat belt bolts.

Remove center deck piece. It's held in place by a nut and washer that are
accessible in the engine bay. This nut and washer *may* be covered/obscured
by the fuel vapor crossover lines and/or a optional heat shield. It faces
straight down.

While in the engine bay, remove the nuts & washers holding the upper part of
the rear deck as well. These face the rear of the car (4 total?).

Remove the rear quarter window "vents".

Remove the rear quarter windows. These windows are held in place by the
integrity of the rubber grommet. Don't damage the grommet, or you'll get
window leaks. Warning: putting this grommet & window back in place is a
major pain.

Drill out rivets (2 or 3) holding each deck piece in place. I use a 3/8
drill bit just to "shave" off the heads of the rivets.

You need to remove the small pieces from the extreme left and right sides,
where the rear quarter window meets the body, at the rear of the window.
They're a 4-sided piece that lives at the back of the interior "pocket" made
by the curved rear glass. They're riveted into place as well, right near
the deck rivets.

The pieces should be removable at this point. You may need to encourage
them a little. Each piece is made from aluminum sheet metal, so don't
damage them removing them.

That's all I can remember off hand.

Previously someone posted the step by step process for removing the rear window deck so it can be re-covered along with the other little pieces of around the back and side windows.

Does anyone know where it's archieved?

thanx in advance!
