I put it in the Benz a year ago and loved it so much I put in the TR. I did not mount the Antenna, I used the "mouse" style unit and just lay it ontop of the IP and can stick it in the glove box if needed.

I have it in my Sebring and in my shop so I can listen all day. Would purchase it again.

I'm with Mitch. After I bought my 328 I put in a new Kenwood receiver & speakers. In 9K miles I've only had it on about 3 times. My XM is going in my daily driver....

First we pay for cable T.V., now we have to pay for listening to the radio...

What next, pay a fee to go to the not so public restroom.......

Yes Mitch, I agree....no need for one in the Ferrari....I listen to it for hours on end while I pull my trailer to the racetrack. Its such a lifesaver. Again, I wonder how I went without it. Best thing Ive done to the Suburban.

(alegidly) I have a high quality AM/FM/6 CD changer in my F355.

But I wouldn't know, I've never turned it on in the 15 months and 10,000 miles of ownership.

Now; why would I want XM?

I'm looking at it for both the car and movable to my office during the days. When you live in a remote area like the Florida panhandle, stations are few, and zero jazz stations.

When I'm at home, I listen to the Direct TV music stations and enjoy them a lot...

I use XM radio for the shop but there is one thing I don't like about it, I listen to 80's music but more than 80% of the music they play are not my type of 80's music like heavy metal, country, etc.. they need to categorize it better for my taste. Depending on what you like listening to I'd listen to someone who has one or sit at a shop and listen for about an hour or so and see if you like it. For me it's not worth it, I'd rather burn my favorite songs on mp3 and forget about it..

Love it, digital sound quality beats the heck out of FM. Only problem is that I am the typical man with a remote and find myself switching channels too frequently!. Get the lifetime subscription if they still offer it so you don't have to do the monthly thing.
