I am a guitar player too. I sold off most of my collection though. I still have a few pieces though. I used to play alot but I don't play as much now. What types of guitars/amps do you guys have?

Dave, you play? or do your guitars sometimes get attention like mine? Personally - prized possession other than cars: Tobias Basic 6. Talked to Michael Tobias, got the sound down that I wanted - they built it and 8 weeks or so late I had it delivered. They are no longer made for the past few years after they were bought by Gibson about 7 or 8 years ago. I have a few other guitars and basses around, but those might part from time to time. But certainly not the Tobias. |

Jordan, first off- and this should've been an On Topic post a long time ago- that birthday party is the best birthday party i've ever heard of. Sounds like your folks are really cool... As far as toys are concerned, there are really few things in my possession that i would lament losing if, let's say, my apartment burned to the ground. i enjoy writing and have been doing so for quite some time. Although i back up a disk every so often and store it in a family member's safe, if i lost my computer, i would still lose more than what i've backed up. i used to draw alot and all my work would be lost, too. Clothing, my 1:18 models, my sports car magazine collection, (my porno magazine collection)- all these things hold no real value if i lose them to, let's say, a fire... Most of what i value is in my head and my heart, so i wouldn't be at too big a loss if i lost everything. If my apartment WAS on fire one day, though, and i still had a chance to grab a few things before it ashed to the ground, my computer and my 1:18 Enzo would be the first things on my list... Oh! and my driving gloves...! i can't live without my driving gloves...! |

Other than your cars, what are your favorite and most prized posessions...of sentimental or monetary value? I'd have to say my biggest thing is my instrument. I am a classical musician *i play the bigggg bass* and one of my instruments is a beautiful Viennese Bass. My bass is a part of me! I love it so much! Sadly, I bought the bass instead of a Ferrari but I had to get it for my career Apart from that, when I was 6, my parents somehow got Ferrari of Houston to throw me a birthday party in their dealership! It was awesome! I got to sit in all the cars there *including a sweet F40*. The dealership even gave me some cool presents including a nice Ferrari logo patch which I keep on my desk as a good luck charm. The people at FoH were so nice to me and my family. My parents would take me there every weekend to drool on the cars and the employees would let me wonder around and sit in any car I wanted and even check out the maintenance area (pretty cool for a 6 year old wonering around alone). I sure do miss Texas! So share your favorite toys |
