A buddy of mine in Omaha is just finishing a frame off restoration of a Boss 302 (1970 I believe). It is absolutely awesome. If you/he are interested, his name is John Nesci and his daytime # is 402-592-3100. I don't THINK it is sold yet.

I checked this place in Columbus OH once. Indoor showroom with mostly big block Mustangs. Check their website.

try meshons in OH I think they have a few around 50. I think I was low for the BOSS 429s - I noticed some listed in the 70s

Tom: he was looking at something last night for 50k- a split window, i believe... was considering it, if that gives you an idea of what he's looking to drop on a car... he's very meticulous, though- almost like my dad- won't buy something unless he's absolutely sure it's not crap... he's been looking for months...

Hutch, thanks for the info, i'll pass it along...

GT500's are not cheap so you might want to clarify what you mean by not spending much. Other alternatives are a BOSS 429 - also expensive, a 428 SCJ (my friends car as a teenager - we had a lot of fun), or Mustang 351 C or Boss 302 (Rob lay's choice) Either way you are looking in the teens for a 351c to 20s for 428 or 302 and 40s to 50s I think for a 429. My prices might be slightly off

My boss is looking for one... doesn't wanna spend too much, but if i could at least get a few leads, i think his hopes would be raised a bit... he's been looking and looking and is very specific on what he wants and hasn't been able to find anything...
He'll even take a GT Fastback... any info or any websites would be much appreciated it... i've tried all the known sites: Ebay, Barret-Jackson, Hemmings, Classic Cars, etc, etc...

Any ideas...?
