I think today's literbikes are the perfect balance. A GSXR-1000 will run 9's with a good rider, and handle better than most of us can push the machine. Bikes like these are great cruisers. They're not made (IMO) for carving corners, they are made for having something unique that puts a HUGE smile on your face.. they don't go it through achieving high cornering speeds, but through insane straight line speeds. Having said that, I'd put my turbo R1 up against that jet bike any day Simply because I have to think that sucker takes a while to spool, and I can already wheelie in the first 5 gears... so by the time I grab the 6th and get on it, how far back is that guy? |

Ben; 300 HP in a motorcycle is awesome. However, that thing weighs over 500#s. One of the advantages in motorcycles is that they can be flicked into a corner. My guess is that this monster doesn't turn very well, and is probably major grief when the road turns twisty. Probably great in a straight line, but not so good on something line the LaHonda road.
