I wish Michael! No, what is in my money clip is the last of the business cards I used when I sold Ferraris at a now non-existant dealer in SoCal. I found this one a few months ago, and I keep it in my money clip to keep me motivated through college... |

Photographer/Writer is one of those Glamor jobs, they take the glamor out of your pay. I thought Nebula might have been making a joke about his ferrari only being potential. His profile states he's yet to acquire. You've probably heard this one, "When I registered my Ferrari the DMV screwed up and the title came back saying it was a Ford." Actually I thought my little joke up as I was walking into a hotel with my Ferrari Hat and Ferrari bag somebody asked, "Do you own a Ferrari?" Shooting from the hip I told him it would be there if nobody had stolen it. (No, I'm not yet an owner). |

LOL, Jordan, he was referring to a Ferrari business card in his money clip... i like the title 'Conversations With Chaos'... i'm strongly considering 'Asymmetrical Fragments' (because the pieces just don't add up...) i applied for a job at a local newspaper when i lived in CT... They just laughed at me... i never get any of the cool jobs... |

DES, Thanks for the idea, I've collected Business cards for years, but never thought of that. I, too, write. I once worked for a local paper as a freelance photographer/writer. I've a collection of poetry(unpublished) titled: "Conversations With Chaos." Nebula, were you talking about your Ferrari being in your money clip? "My Ferrari is parked in the lot, if nobody's stolen it yet, go have a look". |

That's funny, i like writing, too, thank you... i hope to have enough material to publish a book in a few years... (short stories, poetry, etc.) Split-windows have a very original look to them- corvettes aren't my thing, but the split-windows have a look that cannot be ignored... The older Ferraris are nice, there are a few i don't like though... The Mondial is one... The 3X8s always break my neck when i see them, they're really awesome... Testarossas, too (and i guess that incluDES 512BBis, as well, since i can't tell the difference)... i agree with you on maintenance... i'm a big fan of reliability and also didn't know about the high maintenance that comes with them, hitherto... Definitely keep us posted on your quest... (and pictures... LOTS of pictures... ) |

DES you should be a writer!! Love your work. I was going to buy a 308 when I first came on here but I've learned so much about them, that I don't like the ridiculous parts cost and poor engineering for maintanence, belts and bearings ect. So now I just love the looks. If I ever felt rich enough to own one I would love a older one, 275,250 ect. I do love the 308,328,288 look too. I think I will get a 1965 corvette roadster first, love those and it's the year I was born. Maybe a 63 split window, WAY COOL. Mojo |

Well, Mojo, i estimate i'll be about 50 or 60 before i (legally) acquire my first Ferrari... If i had a choice of any model, i'd take two ('cause i'm a greedy bastard): The Enzo & The 360 Spider- 6speed of course, no F1 transmission for me... Both black on black (leather interior), chrome rims, ridiculously black tinted windows, obscene stereo system, and personalized plates; the Enzo's plate would read something like FUH Q or 8ADIABLO or for some real irony, I8A4RE... The 360's plate would read BLUR or PLEDGE or, you guessed it: DES! How about you, Mojo...? |

23, single (by restraining order- jk), and very little college... & of that very little college, i learned even less... College is just another institution required by "the man" in order to even qualify for middle class... (Damn, i can't even answer a question without ranting...) |

i know this is going to seem like a really weird and trivial question, but... What are the odds of me getting a business card from every Ferrari dealership in the world...? i have a business card collection and i'm thinking that it would be really cool to have a business card from every Ferrari dealership in the world... First i would need a list of every dealership, right...? But then once i get that, do i call them, asking them to send me a card or do i write them letters...? Would that be considered being an a-hole...? Input, people, input... it's much appreciated... |
