Try the link I reinserted using the edit feature. For some reason the edit feature didn't turn the URL into a clickable link so you'll have to cut and paste. Yeah, that sounds about right. The red BMW M3 GTR V6 in the in car video's is sometimes serviced there and I think the owner, Ike, told me that they charge $10-15K for a refresh and near $30-35k for a complete rebuild. Let's face it most of their customers are racing in ALMS, Grand Am and starting this year the Speed GT Championship. While these teams don't have F1 budgets, professional racing is expensive. I'm getting an error Jon that I'm not the "owner of the page". BTW, I heard over on the SCCA Pro Racing board that PTG charges $40k to build an engine for privateers. They only have about a 15 hour life too! |

I live 45 minutes from PTG racing the outfit that has run the ALMS BMW's that decimated the Porsche back in 2001 and were subsequently banned from racing in 2002. Some nice pictures of the M3GTR's and a whole host of vintige and past racing BMW's such as the McLaren F1, BMW M1 Procar, BMW GTP, BMW V12 LM, and a few others. Regards, Jon P.
