I bet he won't be living a life of luxury anywhere. I bet the US will put the big squeeze on any country that lets him live there. I'm sure he will have to answer to someone about warcrimes or something. |

For the big bully with the even bigger ego, who dreams of being a god that leads the mid-east to greatness.... this is his party. This is his day on the world stage. If he was alive... or at least well, he would be all over TV! Basking in his sick twisted nightmare. Somethings wrong when the bell of the ball is a no-show. If that first night didn't kill him... it scared the coward so far into hiding (not knowing who to trust). It has had the same end effect, dead or alive. WE don't have big-mouth Saddam yacking at us everyday. |

True, but the aid was saying that since they "know" it is over now that they may be on their way out. I think he meant secretly in exile, not a publicly negotiated deal. Just speculation on his part though. |

"Heard this moring by one of his aides that saddams family and perhaps even himself are preparing for a luxurious life in exile in Syria and that they may have already moved there in secret....ala bin laden." Wasn't that what the Arab countries were offering Saddam when US President Bush gave his ultimatum two days before the war started? He didn't bought it, which is why the war is on, remember? |

hadn't heard that he may have died years ago. Interesting thought. I hate all the body doubles because he will live forever in the people's minds just like Bin Laden unless you can produce a body with DNA matches. Then people would cry conspiracy and say he was alive. Heard this moring by one of his aides that saddams family and perhaps even himself are preparing for a luxurious life in exile in Syria and that they may have already moved there in secret....ala bin laden. |

Whoever it is, it seems fishy to me that we haven't seen anything that verifies a date in those videos. I can't find a thing anywhere, Al Jazeera or CNN. You would think if he was alive he'd be traveling with POW's, just to raise concerns over bombings. Which makes me think he's dead or injured. |

He has supposedly body doubles. He was shown on Al-Jazeera a couple of times last week. It's probable that one of the doubles was the 'Saddam' reportedly killed in the bombings, or it may be he himself was killed. Some even say the original Saddam died years ago, and what we are seeing are his doubles.

he hasn't show himself anywhere since the first nights bombing. i think qusay and uday are alive and keeping this news from getting out so that the whole place doesn't crumble. |
