Unbelievable! What a great show of support. I, too, will go out of my way to give these companies my business when/where I can. Great post, Jere.

I received an e-mail concerning companies in America that are doing their part in supporting the reservists who are called up to serve our country. Sears is one of them. Sears is making up the difference in pay between military pay and what they made at home along with providing the benefits and bonuses they would have received while still at home. It is only legally required that the employer hold the job open and pay for 30 days. Sears has voluntarily extended their part to 2 years. Other companies are listed also.

Maybe we should support our companies here, and by doing so will boycott others.
