Dave
Isn't that what I said? That's what I meant by, "Why don't you all just wait for the Pentagon to make a statement? It's not like the press hasn't been a little off 2 or 3 or 4 other times...."
Sorry I wasn't more clear.

One thing that they have not repeated but is on the MSNBC website along with the CNN website was the missiles that were supposedly found not far from the airport. Supposedly containing Sarin and Mustard gas. All I read was that testing was going to take place to determine if they were real or not. Have seen nothing about this on the TV reports. I wonder what it really is.

Randall, news flash: inconclusive means just that--WE DON'T KNOW YET. Translation: they may be WMD, but testing is not finished. Let's all just wait & see, OK?

Geez...

Did anyone see that general brief (don't recall his name, but the one over in Iraq that does all the briefs). He mentioned it briefly and said testing was inconclusive. Maybe the liberals got to him though. Or maybe he's smart enough to know that you shouldn't buy into everything the press says, since they've been wrong before.

I saw an interview with an ex-UN weapons investigator. He said that these couldn't possibly be WMD because the barrels did not have the correct warning labels. Yeah right, the Iraqi's are going to label their barrels. I can see it "Do Not Open, This barrel contains chemical toxins that could be harmful to your health. Symptoms may include, headaches, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, shortness of breath and death. Ingredients could include ricin, sarin, mustard and other chemicals. This is to be used as an insecticide only. Any other use is strictly prohibited".

I did not know that OSHA operated in Iraq.

Maybe you should drink some to see if it is poison or not.

CNN reported pesticide in the drums. I do not believe it could be pesticide in the missiles warheads either.

They also said there were signs of other chemical agents besides pesticides also but they were having to await more tests to determine what they are. Said possible mustard and blistering agents.

I guess they have a REAL BIG locust problem. :D

Soldier:Sir the Locusts are coming!

Captain:No!

S: Awaiting your orders!

C: I guess we have no choice, prepare the missiles! So what if the US is 10 miles away! We must stop the locusts!

S: Yes sir!.....sir targeting problem, the enemy is too small to hit with a missile that has trouble hitting a city!

C: No!!! Retreat! Let the Americans deal with it.

CNN now reporting that it is pestacide and not Sarin after all at the one site where the troops were exhibiting symptoms of Sarin; can't imaging using pesticide in warheads though unless they have a Triffid problem over there.....

From the looks of the 25 and 55 gallon drums, we would have had to plant them some time ago. And we would have had to have purchased a good number of the Russian rockets also. Yep, we planted them all right.

I just heard a report on CNN that the 25 and 55 gallon drums were found buried underground at an agriculture manufacturing building. It just so happens that one chemical in the barrels could be used in insecticides and I am sure that this is what they will say they were doing. However, there were two other types of chemicals found in them that are not in insecticides. Hmmmm, I wonder what lie they were going to make up for them. And how about the Minister of Information? "We were expecting a bad spring this year and with so many mosquitoes carrying the West Nile Virus, we were stocking up in preparation for the annual springtime mosquito spraying". Certainly sounds believable to me. Not saying he said that, it is just the kind of story I believe he is capable of.

don't worry the libs will have an answer for this - ie see he did have them yet even when threatened he did not use them so there was no threat - this will be the party line. My answer - he did not use them because we got to him first, secondly we were prob more worried he would give them to terrorists then use them him self

Just picked up off MSNBC that a mobile missile launcher loaded with rockets armed with chemical warheads was found abandoned south of Baghdad. It is said the warheads were armed with Sarin and mustard gas and were ready to be fired.

www.msnbc.com/news/895932_asp.htm?vts=040720031150

Also reports of a number of 25 and 55 gallon drums of a chemical agent found at an agriculture manufacturing plant
