i've kept my opinions on this whole thing pretty minimal these last few weeks and i really don't feel like getting into it, now... Yesterday, though, on my lunch break, i went to the deli to get a sandwich (ham & yellow american with mayo & tomato on a hero for those who are interested) and i checked out the newspaper while i was waiting... On the front page, there was a picture of two 19 year old girls who were in military together and one of them had died... It sucks to see things like this... i hate to hear about things like that, but especially with war, for my own, personal reasons... My heart goes out to the families of those who've died and, inevitably, those who will die... i hope no one here has lost anyone during this whole ordeal and if you have, i'm sorry... We all have our differing opinions, but i think the one thing we can all agree on is that loss of life is not necessary and is always a sad thing... As much as i hate to say it, i know more will die... Mothers, fathers, sons & daughters, sisters & brothers, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, friends, etc... i hope everything with this war scene works out, soon... i don't want any more people to die. |
