Guys not only do you need to see this bomb you need to feel it!!!! I live in Pensacola which is about 75 miles from Eglin Air Force Base where they just tested this thing for the first time. This thing is a serious as it gets. They let one loose right before the war started and everyone for miles felt it. It wasn't really loud more concussive. Whoever catches one of those will never feel a thing.

Jim: didn't you do a film, called, i think, "The Soldier," which had a scene in which a ski gondola is taken out with a shoulder launched missile, and then all hell breaks loose? Slaughter of Innocents title sounds familiar, but i don't recall the plot. I'll pull up a summary on the imdb and get back to you.OK, just checked and i think i did see Slaughter because i remember something about your son being in the movie. There was an ark, right? And, according to the plot synopsis, the Soldier is indeed famous for its ski scene. So there you have it. Now, now about Moab (and not the one in Utah), this gets verry strange. In the Bible, according to a description i just read, AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF SODOM (yeah, exactly), Lot and his two daughters found refuge, drank wine and he schtupped both of them. (Hey, its an old testament story. i can do a little yiddish, right?) So, the eldest dauther gives birth to none other than Moab. And there you have it. Jim.

My favorite bomb is the FA bomb: Fuel Air bomb. It lands by parachute and then spews out flammable vapors for a minute or two. Then a spark plug ignites the whole mess. It clears out a gigantic circle big enough for a helicopter to land in. They used it in Vietnam. Sort of like a giant veg-a-matic. Similar to disconnecting the natural gas line that feeds your stove, then waiting an hour, then lighting a match. Same effect, only quicker and more efficient.

replaces the daisy cutter bomb from vietnam that they used to clear the jungle for troop landings I think. This one is packed with more powerfull explosives and weighs 21K pounds.

Senior defense officials told Fox News that one MOAB bomb -- the "Massive Ordnance Air Blast" munition nicknamed the "Mother of All Bombs," has been moved into the Iraqi theater, and is ready for use. The bomb is being kept on hand as a contingency.

One gets the impression is has just been moved in. Isn't it strange that's happening now?
