The New Auto Toy Stroe got raided for money laundering. Since no sane informed buyer would ever consider buying there they deal only with people that have either no credit (they do their own financing) or drug dealers which make large deposits and then they finance a small portion. Jerry, sorry we did not get together. I had your number in my phone and that evening my phone dropped for the 10,000 time on the floor and said bye bye! All numbers were gone. Hey, next time for sure. I know you will not be able to stay away. South beach is just too nice!

auto toy store did change owners from father to son. rumor is they are a front for drugs or maffia types and don't really want to sell cars and the ones they do are patched together. seriously somebody here said a window was propped up with a stick inside the door panel. |

I will not write them off as a-holes at this point by any means, everyone has off days and it sounds like they are normally good people. |

Jerry, I had just the opposite experience. I was down there on vacation about 6 years ago. Went to the Toy Store to have a look in the showroom. Got 3 feet in the door when the receptionist told me to leave if I didn't have an appointment. OK, they can do that if they want. However, I will never buy a lug nut from those people ever. I went on to Shelton and they were great (maybe they had turn-over since then). They let me take pictures of everything. They showed me the then new F50. They also had an F40 and a 288 GTO. WOOOOW!! I was also permitted to take a seat behind the wheel of a 328 and Mondial. I was thrilled! They were very nice, despite knowing that I was not going to be a customer that day (maybe in the future, though). |

They seemed like everything was normal, good inventory, workers buzzing around, no FEDS. Did they change ownership? |

Maybe it was my "Will you hold my beer while I kiss your girlfriend?" T-shirt, shell necklace and sandals. |

While vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale, I went by the ATS and checked out the inventory. Man that showroom is quite awesome! Lambos, (5) 355's, (3) 360's, a 348, a TR, (2) 550's....I was in heaven! Also went to Shelton Ferrari and got the cold shoulder. Nice place but the people are not too nice from what I saw. They did have an F-40 though with only 1100 miles....like new! I am back to reality and the daily grind in Michigan. |
