If true, another sign that someone isn't using his head. Those cars, or at least some of them, may not have been replaceable. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Not sure that I would believe a word of that alledged newspaper story. ABC news did a story on the troops that found that garage, and they never said one word about our military destroying any cars at all. They showed video of our guys walking by an old '58 Ford and a Rolls Royce and another old antique looking Ford thing. But not one word about anybody destroying antique cars. I think the story is bull. I did an Alta Vista search using the names of those Army guys, and found nothing concerning the war in Iraq. Don't you think that some other news service would also have the story, or is the extensive news team of the Detroit Free Press out scooping everybody else in Baghdad? I wouldn't put any credibility in that story at all until verified with another source.

Still makes me wonder if there were any Ferraris in the collection.

I would have hate to been the guy in the tank, a 55Bel-Air convertible untouched with under 1k miles would be worth about 50k+. You guys must realize that if its happeing to this heavy Chevys, then its probably happeing to the Italian Stallions. The thought of it is so sad isnt it?
