Chris P. Great driving song. I saw Rage Against the Machine a few years ago before they broke up. Excellent show.

Right now all I hear is cars driving by my store and the whine of the fan on this computer. Other than that dead silence. My job is sooooo boring.

Does your hair hang down
Does your hair hang low
Do you tie it in a ribbon
Do you wear it in a bow
Do you throw it over your shoulder like a continental soldier,
Does your hair hang low.

In Easy Rider, Captain America and Billie stop by a hippie commune in the desert where the hippies are singing on their "Gorilla Theater" stage.
The above are the words to their song.
(Is that triva, or what.)

Radio, video
Boogie with a suitcase
Your livin' in a disco
Forget about the rat race
Let's do the milkshake, sellin' like a hotcake
Try some buy some fee-fi-fo-fum

Talk about, pop musik
Talk about, pop musik

Shoobie doobie do wop
I wanna dedicate this
Pop pop shoo wop
Everybody made it
Shoobie doobie do wop
Infiltrate it
Pop pop shoo wop
Activate it

New York, London, Paris, Munich
Everybody talk about pop musik
Talk about, pop musik
Talk about, pop musik
Pop pop pop pop musik

Singing in the subway
Shuffle with a shoe shine
Fix me a molotov
I'm on the headline

Wanna be a gun slinger
Don't be a rock singer
Eenie meenie mynie moe
Tell me where you wanna go

Talk about, pop musik
Talk about, pop musik

Shoobie doobie do wop
Lyin' in the tree (?)
Pop pop shoo wop
Eenee meenie
Shoobie doobie do wop

Pop pop shoo wop
You know what I mean

Hit it...

Now you know what to say...

Talk about, pop musik
Pop pop pop pop musik

All around the world
wherever you are
dance in the street anything you like
do it in your car in the middle of the night

La la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

Dance in the supermart
Dig it in the fastlane
Listen to the countdown
They're playin' our song again

I can't get jumping jack
I wanna hold - get back (?)
Moonlight muzak (?)
Knick knack patty whack

Talk about, pop musik
Talk about, pop musik

Shoobie doobie do wop
It's all around you
Pop pop shoo wop
Gonna suround you
Shoobie doobie do wop
It's all around
Pop pop shoo wop

Hit it...

New York, London, Paris, Munich
Everybody talk about pop musik
Talk about, pop musik

Chili Peppers. I cant wait to see them in 2 weeks at the pepsi arena. Hopefully they wont play too much of their new crap, but more of their old stuff where flea goes nuts on the bass and john frusciante does nasty guitar solos, mostly the kind of music they played before they got clean and sober.

LOL, Im listening to Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf's first concerto for Violone. Dittersdorf was an 18th century composer--contemporary of mozart and Im playing the concerto myself for a concert next year so Im listening up to research!

Get this, the bass (violone) this lady is using in this recording was made in the year 1637 in none other than Italy and is worth just over $200k. I got to play a similar instrument and the quality difference really is that much better.

Right now? The sound of me chewing a Quaker PB and chocolate chewy granola bar. Good stuff.

What else do I listen to? Plenty of CDs, vinyl, minidisc, everything from Ella Fitzgerald to The Cramps to Sleater-Kinney to Bob Dylan. And I need my Johnny (Cash).

In the car it's

Saturn - sports talk. Houston FM is lousy most of the time and the tape player doesn't work.

Ferrari - the engine. There's a stereo in there but not hooked up.

As i rummage through endless piles of insurance applications and claims and forms and submissions and requests that need to filed, mailed, faxed, taken up or otherwise discussed with the big nazi insurance corporations, the music blaring from my speakers evens everything out:

System Of A Down: F_ck the System.

Bicycle Race, Blumchen Remix of the Queen classic. Bear in mind I don't like the classic version, but this remix is brilliant. Its especially dangerous while driving, it definitely encourages you to accelerate and overtake.

Maybe its a radio station or something else?

Interesting to see what others listen to!!

Seeing that I am the instigator :-) I suppose I will have to go first!
