Red paint is the lightest of all colors due to the amount of pigment. So, your red ferraris are actually the fastest ones even though they look like sh*t. :-) Yellow is a bit lighter than red but most yellows have metallic in them and, therefore the win still goes to the red regardless of driving ability.

Okay all of you trivial trivia buffs, look at the following abbreviations:

Blvd = boulevard

Rd = road

St = street

Ave = avenue

Now answer this: Which "t" is represented in the abbreviation for the word street. Is "St" representative of the first two letters of the word or of the first and last letters as in "Rd?"

Now which "e" is represented in the abbreviation for the word avenue? Again, is it the first three letters or a combination representing the beginning and end of the word as in "Blvd?"

If the statue of the horse has all four legs in the air, it means one of two things:
1. The rider was a rodeo competitor.
2. The horse is dead.

111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

Only two people signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, John Hancock and Charles Thomson. Most of the rest signed on August 2, but the last signature wasn't added until 5 years later.

That last fact is special to me since my great great great (x 10) grandfather signed the declaration of Independence --John Witherspoon. He was also a co-founder of Princeton...but I still cant get accepted :-)

Try these on:

All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.

Amount American Airlines saved in 1987 by eliminating 1 olive from each salad served first class: $40,000.

Coca Cola was originally green.

Each day, more money is printed for Monopoly than the U.S. treasury.

You can lead a cow upstairs but not downstairs.

A snail can sleep for three years.

Now. Aren't you glad you read these:-)

Actually, gibbons and chimpanzees have recreational sex. In fact, gibbons have sex as much as 15-20 times an hour. Whee!

Anyway, if Wal-Mart was classified as a country, it would be the 24th most productive country in the world.

To Jordan's post, 8 is the lucky number in China. There is a RR Silver Shadow in Hong Kong that has an '8' on the plate. The richest man in Hong Kong gets to drive that car for one year.

LOL, Jordan, that last one is real cute... Here's 4 to match your 4:

1. A Polar Bear's skin is actually transparent (although one source claims it's black).
2. Windows 95 uses 8 times more ram to load than it takes to blast off a space shuttle.
3. The word 'non-tax' actually means 'a little tax', as opposed to what one would assume to mean 'no tax'.
4. 'Dreamt' is the only word in the english language that ends in the letters 'mt'.

When the alpha male in a group of primates (and some other species/genus) gets annoyed with a particular member of its group, the offender will present its butt to the alpha, who will pretend to copulate with it. This "presenting the butt" is in deference to the alpha male's power, as he acts out the sexual motion, implicating "I f*ck you".. Hence the phrase "f you".. Also indicative of people who bow when praying, greeting someone of stature, etc. Nothing like bending over for god...
