AC-DC cranks !
Highway To Hell, Fire Your Guns , TNT , For Those About To Rock, Big Guns or just listen to Angus playing a guitar solo.

Also Motorhead !
Built For Speed ,Ace Of Spades, Hell Raiser, We Are Motorhead, Killed By Death

KISS
Detroit Rock City

Crank these tunes up on the McIntosh , have plenty of cash with you to bail yourself out if you get caught for going triple digits and then go out and scare the hell out of yourself.

6)G.B.H.
7)Slayer
8)The Misfits

Another Satrinani Fan!! Ya! And I also like Steve Vai. Do you play guitar Bill?
I think on of the best driving songs out there for the highway on ramp is Van Halens Panama!! Just that intro riff puts a huge smile on my face as I'm mashing the gas to the floor!!
Oh ya Satch's Motorcylce Driver song is good to of the album the Extremist and so is Steve Vai's bad horsie off of alein love secrets.

Best Driving songs:

Radar Love - Golden Earing
They Call Me the Breeze - LS

I used to crank it up as I entered the Einsiedlerhof Autobahn on ramp and blast off approaching 100 coming out on my way to a 130 cruise to Landstuhl/Ramstein exit. What a great way to unwind from work everyday.

Between the music and the Tubi I'm sure everyone heard me coming.
best

Thunderstruck is great when behind the wheel.

I'm a fan of Guns n' Roses when driving also.

I used to listen to stuff like Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, etc while driving, but the music had an influence on my drivng style, also i just dont listen to that kind of music anymore except when im working out and running. When im just driving on the highway i like other kinds of music. Mostly i listen to Pearl Jam, Red hot Chili peppers, U2, Guns n Roses, and assorted classic rock.

i'm no where near being a fan of any kind of techno music, but when you're driving (and i mean driving), put on a techno song and you'll never want to listen to anything else... There are a few i really, really like to listen to when the road is open & unpopulated, but i can only remember one name... Sandstorm by Darude... Such an awesome song to listen to when you're behind the wheel and want to focus on nothing but the road...

I don't know, AC/DC (my first concert BTW) is good, but old skool Metallica may be better (Master of Puppets, Creeping Death) and, unabashedly, Poison gets me pretty revved up. Note that I am not in a Ferrari, but a Ford Probe, so the above may not have any relevance, although I do notice my driving habits change dramatically with any of the above bands playing on the stereo.

DAMN, it gets me pumped! I always listen to it on the first few laps on track, too. I know a guy named Mel, who now lives in Atlanta, who used to be a top M3 racer, and he would play the nastiest head-banging metal music while driving. That's a bit much for me, but AC/DC just seems to put me in the Groove.

Juat my $0.02...
