I also rode worldcom from .36 to .06 you do the math...;)I do nothing but shorts/puts I have never gone long in the last year...stocks drop much faster and more dramatically than they climb in my experience. |

BTW, if anyone is looking for a consistently profitable investing technique, this simple method has been VERY good to me (as in 30-300% profit on mosr trades and I've never lost): Look for a stock that is hyped up in the media (such as WEL during the war) and look for signs that it is overinflated (i.e the value quadruples in a few weeks as in WEL during the war) or other signs, and short it at the high or buy a put and wait for it to drop. I made a LOT on WEL during the war and it seems that I could be looking at 30-40% on this play... |

If you're looking for speculation, I have some...
I think their stock is way overinflated right now. They benefitted from the weak dollar and from the hype over their new chipset. However, ATI has kicked their ass recently in most performance benchmarks, and NVidias latest did not (from what I saw) outperform the latest Radeon.
I think they are due to drop to the $16-17 level in the next quarter or so |

Hi, wondering what some opinions were on this stock, they shot up 50% or so recently based on the weak U.S dollar and a new chipset they are bringing out, what are your opinions on shorting it now at 21ish and waiting for it to come back to 15ish? Think it will happen? |
