The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Eigth Level of Hell - the Malebolge!

Am I the only one here in the 8th level?

Okay, I scored 154 in 6 minutes, so I KNOW there's a flaw somewhere!

This one said 146, and that im a genius, but I have some scars on my body that prove otherwise. I'm pretty sure this number isnt right. I think if you take the same one over and over again, you will get the same scores, at least if you reason the same way.

Art, i agree... i've taken several IQ tests in the last 9 years, but none in the last 3 or 4; i'm somewhat familiar with the concept behind them, the results and how they're scored...

...but of course i would be - i have an IQ of 197. :-)

Des:

Accurate IQ testing is very confusing. The standard IQ test Stanford/Binet is only accurate to about 135. After that, there are several other tests, each with their own limits. When someone tells you they scored over 150, ask them how many IQ test it took before they were able to tell him or her what their IQ was. If you do score above 170, it takes approximately four seperate tests, before they can accurately tell you what your score was.

By the way an IQ of 130+ is in the top 1%, and therefore only 2.6 Million in the US have an IQ that high or higher. When you get a score about 140, then its the top .1%, and there are only 260,000. Above 170, there are only 2600 people with that or higher. However, you'll hear people tell you how smart they are, and if we listened to all of them, it would make the scale look like a bell curve nightmare. What I'm getting to is that most people exaggerate their score for obvious reasons.

Tim, it reads that my IQ is above average, at 122 (done in 8 minutes); However, i've taken several online IQ tests and they're usually never accurate... i've scored as high 150+ on one; if you take the same ones over and over, you'll get different scores...

AS for online tests, there should be a thread about them. Heres one that is really good for your self esteem (it seems optimistic to me)http://aceviper.net/official_iq_test.html

You probably don't.

A friend described me to one of his friends, and I'll never forget it. "Evil really can come with a pleasing guise."

I'm a hell of a nice guy though, don't get me wrong. Or else the So Cal group would have said, "Out with you!" heh heh.

The Sixth Level of Hell - City of Dis

You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell.

Fourth Level of Hell

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just before the river Styx is the Fourth Level of Hell. Here, the prodigal and the avaricious suffer their punishment, as they roll weights back and forth against one another. You will share eternal damnation with others who either wasted and lived greedily and insatiably, or who stockpiled their fortunes, hoarding everything and sharing nothing. Plutus, the wolf-like demon of wealth, dwells here.

And I was hoping for level 9, Goddamnit!

Well, here's my score...

The wretched King Minos has decided your fate. His tale wraps around his body 7 times.
The sweet light no longer strikes against your eyes. Your shade has been banished to... the Seventh Level of Hell!
Seventh Level of Hell

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

9 is the highest level, so i'm obviously not trying hard enough... :-)
