Erich - Lol! There better at LEAST be some wicked flames shooting out of those for full effect when he drives! Wonder if he gets pulled over for obstructing taillights... |

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. That "thing" looks so stupid, he ruined the car, whatever car it was. IMO |

Sean F, it's not the heat. It's the accelerated air coming from the pipes. "Free" airflow even when standing still. |

Sean... While what you just said makes more sense, what i said was something i read in a magazine... (not that i want anyone to get into any kind of pissing contest with regards to magazines), but until now, what the magazine said made a lot of sense to me... |

Look agian DES, the exhaust pipes on the new Ferrari point to the rear. It helps the rear wing by heating the air under the wing. Higher temperature air has lower pressure. Lower pressure on the underside of the wing = more downforce with less drag. It has nothing to do with the "downforce" created by the force of the exhaust coming out the top of the body work. They used to shoot the exhaust out the rear diffuser (look at an early 90's car) for the same reason. Rules now won't allow that. |

The exhaust pipes on an F1 car point the same way; however miniscule, they do give the car a bit of downforce; maybe the same does not apply with this car here, but if that was the owner's intentions, i don't think he's that stupid... Granted, in my opinion, they definitely ruin the look of the car... |

He probably thinks he can do 'wheelies' if he steps on it hard enough! All of this had made me so much more appreciate low riders. At least the owners do their best to keep the cars more original (except for the hydros) ...Ps...Does the low rider community loathe the ricers? |

Hoping to add some humor in light of the recent "ricer" debates, however that enormous yellow bus is pretty much impossible to top! |
