DrS,

Did you pick the cat up and put it there to give you an excuse to shoot it?

Shame on you.................... but good idea

Doc, I am sure your local Wal-Mart would have some cheap covers that would do the job.

How about trimming the cats' claws? Guess they can't scratch the paint if the claws are all filed smooth.

My 2 cats always perch themselves up on the rear deck. Fortunately the car cover keeps the hair off the car. My biggest fear is cat vomit seeping through the cover onto the paint. Fortunately that's only happened on the bumper.

I had a problem like this when I parked my BMW & Acura outside. The worst part was the cat that did this was a male Tom cat "leaving his sent." Not only did I have scatches on the car but it smelled like "@#$%!!!. You can't get it out with a simple detail. So to all that let cats sit on their cars, this my happen to you.

Time to grab an AR-15A2.
You can try and bayonet the thing.

I saw two guys have a furball on
a new truck a few years ago. I
was going to write a note about
the little ordeal. There were
scratches all over the hood.

And the cat does not scratch the paint? Amazing!

That photo reminded me of a picture in the Cavallino Letters section, owner takes a pic of the car napping on the engine lid of his 308GTSi....it just so happens...its the Cavallino with the 348's debut on the cover.(I think it was #48)

The damn thing has the uncanny ability to want to sit on the most expensive stuff in the house.

1) found the cashmere blanket with in one hour of being unwrapped

2) Just loves the 1870 Persian rug

3) Is the #1 source of cat hair on the closed convertible top.....

The cat was actually in the car when I saw it and grabbed the camera.... when I got back outside, it was on the bonnet....

Damn cat...

Or, may I venture to say, doc, you put the cat there so you can take a photo of him/her committing this "heinous" act against your 348? ;-)
