Rikky, Thats a very interesting question! Actually nobody of the F1 drivers would like to drive on such a difficult and dangerous track which doesnt met any of todays F1 safety regulations. Mika Hakkinen said once he would like to drive it with his McLaren. Sadly they didnt let him. Most probably the sophisticated F1 cars would mostly scratch the ground due to the very rough track and the uncountable bumps. If a F1 car could be adjusted to that it would surely be faster than 6.11 As it looks today though Bellofs time is a record for eternity. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

What would a modern-day F1 car run here? Any ideas? |

Ansgar, Wow, what a great video! The lap looks so smooth and harmonic almost like he is not braking at all! This must be very near to a perfect lap at the Nrburgring although the other car was a bit faster. If I compare that to my lapping there (which is not comparable at all of course!) I know that I am more than several worlds apart from that refering to line and harmony. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |
