I also see the humor in Allan reinforcing a stereotype. And like that there are all sorts of folks contributing all sorts of stuff here. From guys like Gerald L. and L. Allan is an ••••••• and a jack ass, everyone on here and the other sites he terrorizes know it too. I think he has a right to say most things. I would have to start heavily moderating otherwise. It's just a fact that he'll light a fire every day or two and watch it burn from afar. Pretty funny actually and he's good at knowing which will burn the hottest. I have no respect for him as a person, I don't think the internet is something you can hide behind and act as less of a person than the real world. If he acts like this on the boards, than he's an ••••••• and jack ass in real life too. With 2,500 users there's very few of him thankfully for us and I can't help to wonder how he feels as a person being one of the few. It's not even like 1%, it's like 0.1%. Some people just have issues and problems and that's it. I have thought about removing him from the site as he's one of the few that doesn't add any value, but stirs up much bad will in the process. | ||

I dunno, I'm with Allan on this one. Looks like a bunch of jealous armchair racers. Why would they bother signing up on a board called "exotic car forums" when they "...can't see the point of spending more than $35k on a car..." or when they try to compare 1/4 mile times of a Corvette vs a 12 year old Diablo. Seems strange. While keeping his thoughts to himself might be a wise move, these kids should keep their thoughts to themselves regarding real world characteristics of cars they've probably never even seen in person. -R | ||

I always hate to say something in this situation but I think I should. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions --there are no right or wrong, just different. However, there could be more diplomatic and mature ways of voicing your opinions. Just because a person may be more well off than others, shouldn't give him/her the right to belittle a younger or perhaps less fortunate person...There is just no class behind that logic. Underneath the surface, its not about money, cool cars, or extravagant lifestyles, its about being a good person. Just my opinion, but hopefully others may agree.
