Wow! If Sammy can miraculously pick ONE bat out of 77 and ACCIDENTLY pick the ONLY bat with cork in it, then Sammy should forget about baseball and head for Las Vegas. The results are obvious. Even IF by some miracle his corked bat was ACCIDENTLY put into his hands, he should know that as a multimillion dollar sports figure, he can't afford to make such ACCIDENTAL mistakes.
Move over Martha Stewart, here comes Sammy!!!

Sammy is the man! I could care less if he has a corked bat.

For all you celeb watchers Sammy has(or at least used to have) a yellow 360 Spyder(black top). I saw it before delivery at LFSC a couple of years ago.
I heard today that they took 77 bats, and none were corked.
Just my two Lira.

Hes a better roll model than most NFL players. Last year it seemed harldy a week went by without an NFL player being accused of murder.

Practice bat? 15 other bats? Spin doctors already at work. Those 15 other bats are probably long gone. :-)

just kidding... I still believe innocent until proven guilty.

But this is just another thing in the long line of events in Pro sports that is really starting to turn me off.

Its not as bad as you think...it was his batting practice bat. They took his other 15 bats and will cut them open and see if ANY of those are corked as well, if they are then we all know he is a cheater. If they arent corked it was just an honest mistake, to bad with the way the media is they will want to feed the guy to the lions!

Cheater you call? What about MLB players using illegal steroids (and god knows what else) to further their play on field..??
