As a soon to be S2000 owner I was HORRIFIED to see pics of the pink one in the movie. I haven't seen the sequel yet and I can't bear to watch it. Fortunately for me here in Vt. rice has not caught on. |

"The one big thing that struck me as stupid is why in the name of hell would you use 3 loud, very unique, flashy and easily identifiable civics to commit crimes??? Even an idiot knows to use something that is inconspicuous for illegal activity!" Umm... you haven't been around Los Angeles much then, lol! The only difference between those in the movie and those out here is the neon. Sorry, its not bashing, but a stock Civic is a rarity. Just my observation. |

The first one sucked so much ass that i was disgusted. I found it on the network at school, so i watched it like 2 weeks ago. I forgot how utterly terrible it was. I could go on for so long pointing out what made it so stupid. One thing that stands out is the race against that "Ferrari". If that supra was really a 10 second car, it would have completely embarassed the Ferrari. They were trying to pass that Ferrari off as a F355, which are marginally faster than stock supras. Come on. Another thing that pissed me off was the wheelie that the charger did. I have yet to ever see a car smoke its tires while lifting the fronts. That is because it doesnt happen! Smoke is a result of lack of traction, wheel stands are the result of alot of traction. Also, the first race sequence was rather funny, since they were supposedly running a quarter mile, but the scene went on for like 5 minutes while paul walker fiddled with his computer. Someones also gotta tell those fools that the power increase from two bottles of "NAWS" is the same as one bottle, the only differecne is time between fill ups. The one big thing that struck me as stupid is why in the name of hell would you use 3 loud, very unique, flashy and easily identifiable civics to commit crimes??? Even an idiot knows to use something that is inconspicuous for illegal activity! i could go on.... im planning on seeing the new movie, just for a laugh. I'm sure it will be as ridiculous as the first. nice pic jason |

i enjoyed the first movie; fast cars, high speed driving and yadda yadda... but that's just me... i'm going to the theatre tonight to buy tickets for tomorrow night's showing - definitely don't wanna get there when it's sold out... i enjoyed Bad Boys, too - also looking forward to that sequel, as well... Lastly, i enjoyed Gone In 60 Seconds & Driven... Ronin had a great car-chase scene and i hope to, one day, watch the French Connection... Granted, these movies aren't teaching kids the best lessons, but who lets their kids see movies like these in the first place...? |

Hmm. The Charger in the first one, the Challenger in the second -- Maybe the producer is lamenting the passing of the Mopar age. ;^) I was thinking of replacing my winter car (a WRC homologation ST-165) with an EVO or STi, but I'd be worried about the film-inspired attention it would get, even in places where I'd park the Ferrari without a qualm. Bond flicks: Was I the only one who _liked_ OHMSS? Or was it just because I liked the book, with it's long detailed scene of the Blower Bentley and the Couger having a romp through Europe -- slowing through the villages, racing in between: an image of what "Gran Touring" used to be all about. <grampa> These young whippersnappers don't know what good driving _is_. </grampa> Or was it because it had a "Bond Girl" that could out-drive the bad guys? (Diana Rigg: "M" appeal? <erk>)

I would not waste my money on a stupid movie like this. I also agree this is a dangerous message to send to our kids. The kids here are already racing thier rice burners around like a bunch of lunatics. The last thing we need is to add even more fuel to the fire. |

quotes?? Dude - I am trying to FORGET any words from the movie. Positive - cool cars....beautiful people and for you guys, lots of skin Negative: predictable story, filming was too frantic that you really can't appreciate the cars...just to name some more If I was a parent of a teeneger into that scene - I'd sit down and chat with them. While I love a good car chase scene - this sort of thing is extremely dangerous. A real racer does it on the track. If I had a daughter.....no way in this lifetime would I let her go out dressed like some of the race fluff around the cars. If I had a pink Honda - no way in this universe would I have pink furry seat covers Talking with the hosts/media after I was told that the movie was bombarded with companies wanting to put their product in it......and you are subject to MANY product placement ads.

Tyson dude, it doesn't matter if its exact or not so long as the spirit and philosophy of baldie live on! And William: Yes, it started with octopussy! Continued to suck ever since. I was pleasantly suprised by the first 90 minutes of die another day and though finally, the curse is broken. Then, well, I saw the rest of the movie. |

I walked into a local Auto Zone and a Fast and the Furious neon kit in different sizes was standing on display as you walked in the entrance. I can't wait to see what comes next. Sunny |

My friends that are into showy imports are going goo-goo and ga-ga over this movie. I have a feeling that the Lower Mainland will soon be flooded by NAWWWSSS stickered, bumblebee sounding Civics haha. |

Great moments in Rice history. It's best, in my opinion, that Ferrari stay out of the movie, there is no reason for a TRUE sports car such as Ferrari to be mired in that Hot Import Fights style of movie. Let Ferrari be reserved for a cameo in another movie. (Now that this movie will hit, I'm just waiting for Ebay to be flooded with titles of nonsense; 2 Fast 2 Furrious Honda For Sale! 2 Fast 2 Furrious Oil Drain Plug!....give me a break and spare me) |

Movies now teach kids that they're stupid & want money. I now one long commercial to sell ads. I will be attending Hot Import Nights in Houston this weekend, just as the movie being released. I will be interesting to find out the adverse effects of the media to the young kids. Some people I've talked to hate it before seeing first. They know its going to be bad, but most will see it only for the cars. I'll wait for the DVD. FYI I just saw DIE ANOTHER DAY on DVD tonight, is it me or the Bond films are slipping as well? A Diablo & 355b falling from a plane without getting destroyed? LOL!

OK - guys....back from the media premier of the movie........OUCH Someone pass the vomit bag. Yes - some cool cars but bad acting, silly stunts....I mean what are we trying to teach the kids? No seatbelts? Stupid stunts? Bad language (grammatically) I must be getting OLD! Although the movie was .....ok....it just reeked of Tony Montana meeting Hot import nights... somebody save me!!! |
