I am Canadian :-)

I suppose I am 100% indian...

My great grandparents lived in E. India, went over to Africa, grandparents born in Tanzania, my parents were born in Tanzania, in Dar-Es-Salaam

my mom moved to England alone at 12.

my dad moved to England at 17, studied at University of Manchester, did some studying in Iran, back to England, met my mom, they got engaged, moved to Canada, got married, moved to Winnipeg, and then to Vancouver, then to Richmond.

As for me, I was born in Richmond, and still live here.

I sorta speak English, at one time i spoke spanish, but havent studied it or been to any spanish speaking counrties in 2 years, so its pretty rusty. I'm still pissed at my Dad ad grandfather for not teaching me italian when i was growing up. I figure i'll take some of that to satisfy my language requirement. It should be easy becasue its alot like spanish, simialr rules for conjugating verbs.

Lived in Hong Kong, Japan, and Switzerland and now live in Boston. I can direct taxis and order food in Cantonese, Japanese, French and German. The only amongst those I could claim to speak would be Japanese (other than Inn-Gerr-Lish)

I do also know some Indian curse words, from attending an India vs England cricket match with a british born Indian friend :-). A phrase that sounds suprising like a man's name [Ben ****], was announced of the intercom...

"Would Mr Ben *** please come to the front gate, your friend has lost you". Cue half of the crowd in tears of laughter. I must say when I asked my friend why he was laughing I was quite impressed with the sheer rudeness of this expression - much worse than "See you next tuesday".

Apogies in advance for offending anyone here, but this is "Off Topic", I thought I'd go "Off Color" also... :-)

i'm still struggling with English; once i master that, i'll move on to another language... :-) English language has something like 500k - 600k words in it - and thanks to Bill Gates, they're adding more and more each day... :-)

As far as ethnic origin, well... i'm a being... i won't classify myself as white or male or even caucasian; i won't classify myself as an american; i'm equal to others who aren't american, so then i'm left with earthling... i can't classify myself as an earthling, though, since there is life beyond this planet and i'm not above anyone... So, i'll just say that i'm a being... Not a human being; just a being... :-)

A lot of the models at hotimportsnight.com has very mixed heritages as well. It sometimes amazes me how all those different cultures and ethnicities come together. This is what's great about America, diversity.
