Okay, so I saw it in 1961. I don not remember much about it except the old "rods". I have been a car nut all my life and enjoy all types.

"The Choppers" is in the books. Made in 1959, released in 1961, not about cycles, but about a teen gang that steals hot rods for "chop shops". Hear Arch Hall, Jr. sing his hits "Konga Joe" and "Monkey in my Hatband". So it says. Also featuring Marianne Gaba, Playboy's Miss September 1959. Haven't seen it.

Talk about an old "Hot Rod" movie, see if you can find "The Choppers". It is so old, the rods had flathead engines. I believe I saw it about 1959. Now I disclose how old I am.

Peter:

Milton-Freewater is in Oregon, across from Walla Walla. I'm in Milton, Wa., just up I-5 from Tacoma. And boy, did we have a pretty weekend here!

I remember watching and enjoying the "Outrage" movie, except for the silly ending where he beats up the cars instead of the bad guys. According to my movie book, it was made for TV in 1973, it's only 74 minutes long, and it's based on a true incident. I think Robert Culp did smack one of the kid's dads, but he felt bad about it. And when he threw a chair through the front window, he first shouted out a warning to "move away from the window, I'm going to throw a chair through it!!" Come on, dude, just throw it!

I remember it! Those damned punks and their Corvette! The "Outrage" movie was a made-for-TV movie of the week, I think. At the end, Robert Culp gets mad and beats up the cars! BAD CARS!! Upload

I watched that movie when I was about eight years old (Now 44). I would never say the word 'Hell', so I brought the TV guide listing to my mom and pointed it out to see if I could watch it! Awesome movie! I would like to see it again if a copy is available. Another great one about that time was a flick called 'Outrage', about a guy that moves into a nice hood only to be victimized by a bunch of hot rodders..Anyone seen that one?
