Jerry, Thanks for the response. I will be in Munich at least one day. I will try to get to Garmsich, mainly for the view of the alps if nothing else. Thansk. Matt |

Matt, I just got back from a week in Germany (2nd time there) and although it is not car related, I would make it a priority to go to Munich (big city with lots of character and lots to do) as well as Garmisch (breathtaking views of the alps as well as a quaint tourist village). Expect a very clean country but people are generally not overly friendly. |

I leave tomorrow on a 8:55 am flight to Germany for a little over a week. While I am there, I am going to the Dingolfing BMW plant, the Munich Porsche plant, the VW plant, still trying to get a Mercedes tour. I am also trying to go to the Koenig and Alpina tuner's place to just look around. Right now I have a few days that are not planned out yet, what else could I do that is ideally car realated? I will have my digital camera and my laptop, so if I can get internet access at one of the hotels I will post some pics while I am out, if not then I will post when I get home, if I have time. I get married 3 days after I get home. Thanks in advance |
