DES I don't think I have ever seen a pre 1940 white road car. But, that is just me and I would love to see a classic design in white. So, please someone prove me wrong. :-)

Rob
Open means open as in convertible or drop top. In my case the class included 1930-36.

Usually "open" means that anything can enter. That much more competitive because of the range of eligible cars and usually it's one of the most popular classes.

Awesome. What do they mean by 'open car'...? Isn't it a coupe...?

To be perfectly honest, everything BUT the possibility of a replica crossed my mind... i wish i had seen it in person... Yours (the car) was tremendous and i can't imagine what it looks like in motion... Yours won something at the Greenwich Concourse, right...?

Des
I doubt the one she saw was real. I suspect it was a replica. I'll check but I don't think there are any white Dusenbergs.

Mr. G. - Playing a little Spy Vs. Spy, are we...?

The Bird said she saw a Dusenberg over the weekend... Said it was just like the one in the pictures i showed her (of yours) and it was huge... Only thing is, it was white... Just wondering if you painted yours and were driving around on the Island or maybe you have some arch nemesis trying to copy you or something... Yours was the first i'd ever seen or even heard about; so to hear that there's another one around was almost unbelievable.
