Yep, sounds like typical Audi issues.. Always thought the Brake rotor issue was limited to the A6... Other Audi issues- dealer service treats you like a VW Fox owner, no loaner cars, and zero concept of parts supply & distribution... I hang out on the off-topic forum,,, username Kenny... |

Kendall Kim, The Audi is great - thanks for asking. Apart from the wheel bearings going bad all the time and the CV joint/ABS wheel speed sensor rotor problem it's a great car and a blast to drive in the winter. Also, cant say that Ive been to the Audiword.com site looks like there is a lot of info to take advantage off. Who knows, may be Ill join the chat forum soon. Cheers!

Tony, you have to figure out what is more important to you. I also think Dave was right on when he said balance. Give her what she wants and she will give you what you want. |

Pat, I never said I was single. At the time I wrote the thread I was seperated from my wife. We just got back together Monday. I am trying to work things out in our marriage. The currant problem is one I have and I am looking to see how people deal with it! |

My wife gets mad because I spend alot of time on my car hobby. Do you have the same experience? ------------------------------------------------- Hmmmm.... Are you sure your not w/ my "EX" Fiance'. All I can say is I am so glad I am not married. This dissolution of I better get this or that before I get married or have kids blah blah blah...(WHY NOT CONCENTRATE ON MAKING ENOUGH TO HAVE BOTH!!) A little off your subject but,.....too many people IMO fullfill this prophecy w/ this thought in mind and lose "themselves" letsay and ultimatly wind up in ruin.Only to realize their own hidden resentment (sometimes subconcience and unaware) towards their new responsibilities which undermines the "core" which often is foundational cause of the marriages demise.Ive seen this over and over. Just a thought.

Quoted By Tony Roberts: "When I meet woman I never tell them I own 2 Ferrari's.Some guy's use this to pickup woman not me.The reason I do not tell them is I am not interested in goldigger's.I want a woman to like me for who I am,not because of what I drive.Single guy's what is your experience with this situation?" http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/262208.html?1054931717 Based on this one "useless" thread - I thought you were single. Why all of a sudden do you have "marital" problems? |

Sorry, PeterS, i have to disagree with you on one thing: no woman should ever be "thankful" that her spouse isn't out cheating... You make a vow, you keep it (i don't mean you, specifically); your spouse shouldn't be thankful that you're not out cheating... Just my two fifths of a nickle... |

I rarely if ever advertise my interest in cars in public, But Women whom I met or know that have a sincere interest in getting to know someone likewise make an effort to understand my passion for cars, and many surprisingly walk away liking it themselves... Then of course I am equally expected to sit through and talk about girl stuff they want to discuss like relationships, clothes etc.. It's usually the ones who are more obsessed with themseves that roll their eyes or have blank stares anytime car talk comes up... |

Tony, No, not really. Big surprise, eh? My wife is actually rather frugal with most things, and is a very sensible, value-oriented shopper. Why the question? I seem to remember another former poster here who made a rather rude insinuation on that exact same topic... Funny how coincidences work, eh?

Tony. Maybe you need to remind your wife that she is fortunate that you have a hobby and are not out chasing other women and cheating on her. That one works for me when I spend to much time doing my hobbies. Keep in mind though that she may have a valid point if your hobby time is too excesive. You may need to take two steps back and look at how you spend your time. I have found that by giving just 10% of the total time away from my hobbies that I think will make her happy, it works! Your problem may go farther than just the 'hobby thing', and that only you can figure out....ALSO! If your wife does not have a hobby, encourage HER to get one. This will take a lot of heat off of you! |

No....because I also spend a lot of time with her, focused on her interests. And thus, she has actually gotten more interested in the car thing without any urging on my part. IMO, it's all about balance. |
