I think it depends on the manufacturer. Normally if you snip wires it kills your electrical warranty. If there is a harness that makes it plug and play it should be OK. You should receive some literature about this when you purchase the car. The warranty information booklet should cover this. Worst case scenario, shoot Range an email and ask. Also ask the vendor what type of warranty they supply. Sometimes there are products that cover the warranty items of a vehicle, but that might depend on the make and they are usually for a very short period of time. But most should cover the installation under a warranty. Cheers |

Nav TV I was thinking of getting this for my new rover, but am hesitant if it voids my warrenty....I know how complex the electric systems are in optioned out BMWs.  |
