My first time on an Airplane (December, 2000), i got into First Class for just an extra $100... My patience during the return flight's predeparture-seating problem resulted in another First Class seat - this time for free...!

Jordan:

As a child I grabbed all
the airplane postcards I
could at the time when
I was on the airplane.

Somehow I still have quite
a few to this day.

The only one I have that
belongs in a museum is a
Delta Airlines Convair 880.
Talk about rare !!!

This was in Delta's 1960's
designs.

I also have other oddballs
and desirables:

Lufthansa B-707
National 747 (long gone)
SAS B-707
Delta DC-8
Delta 747 (early)
Continental B-707

I should have some original
extra Delta DC-8 postcards;
if you have anything else
along those lines.

A few others here and there.

Ralph-

I dunno... somethin like that..

We studied the People's Express case in my marketing class and watched the video of the CEO giving a presentation to HBS students back in 1985.. Who knows what he was smoking..

Peoples express had nothing
to look at on board.

What happened if you did not
have money for the airfare
on Peoples Express ?

Did'nt you have to pay on
board for EVERYTHING ?

Including toilet paper ~

Remember the hot gals serving
drinks and peanuts on the 737-100's
in the 70's and early 80's.
Early days had hot pants and
go-go boots.

I remember when they did not fly
out of Texas. The stewardesses
were all lookers. They were all
prom queens and or Miss Texas
material.

I miss those days !!!
