Chris - no problem Jack - I don't know why exactly not to use it on new leather. Maybe it has something to do with there not being any dirt ground in the new leather, therefore nothing for the soft scrub to take out. |

Soft Scrub? Interesting. Any idea why they say not to use it on new leather? I would think whatever risk that poses would apply just the same to older leather. |

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51132&highlight=soft+scrub I know it sounds a little weird. But I just bought a 94 Legend, and the leather was in great shape, just dirty. (It has a light color interior) There was a spot on the back seat where it looked like ink had gotten on the leather. By using this method, and then putting some leather moisturizer back in it, the spot was completely gone. It also took the other dirt in that spot out, restoring the original color. Well I couldn't leave it like that, so I started doing my whole interior. What a difference! It looks brand new again. I wish I had taken some before and after pics now, but after a few hours work, I couldn't be happier. They say not to use it on brand new leather, but it sure works great on more aged and used leather.
