Peter, That car is awesome! I had four Porsche 911s before my 328 and I'm still a big fan. I particularly like them in rare colors. I've seen enough Guards Red Porsches to last me a lifetime. Very cool color combination! Good luck and enjoy! -Augustine |

Peter.... Yeah it does have that equipment in addition to a full leather interior. I used to be the manager of the Porsche franchise at a large multi franchised dealer from 92-94. I sold these when they were new. Great cars and good value compared to the regular cabs. Have fun. |

Kds, don't know too much about the background. I did notice that it has drilled rotors. The brakes are very responsive btw. Whether that's any different from the regular models, I don't know. I certainly hope it has all the bells and whistles you mentioned. Thanks again for the further details. |

Thanks Fayyaz and Andrew! This color seems to work well for the Porsche. But, I wouldn't imagine using it on an F-car! Yeah, the Alfa spider belongs to a friend. He did encourage me to get this car when we were at the dealer the other day. |

Peter... I don't know how much info you have about this car, but FWIW they were also equipped with the complete 911 Turbo brake system, wheels and running gear including the code "030" sport chassis. It was marketed in the US as the "America Roadster". I never saw a car in that color, even in my factory trips, nice catch !! |

Kds and Jeffrey, thank you! Kds, thanks for the color and car info. Good to know that this car is of the limited type. Interesting they have Wimbledon in the name. Now, I know the proper name for the car's color. |

Looks too sweet. Great color and has a sense of style that many more somber Porsche colors miss. I am sure she will be lots of fun for you. Congrats |

Peter.... Great looking car !!! And rare too. Porsche produced a "very" limited number of "turbo look" cabriolet's between 91-94. FYI the official Porsche name for your interior leather color and exterior paint finish is "Wimbledon Green Metallic", and in Canada anyways, it was only available at extra cost on the turbo look car. Of course, anyone could have paid the significant extra charge for a "paint to sample" finish on a regular car.... We sold one in matching paint and leather in a color that Porsche name "Rasberry Red"......metallic pink would have been more accurate......but the effect in real life was quite stunning, just like your car. It goes to show that paint chip samples never do justice to the end product. Congratulations !!! |

Thanks James! Ooops, forgot to answer your other question Faisal. Yes, it is definitely as much fun to drive as it looks, especially when the top is down! A full manual would have been even more fun, but goods cabrios with manual are hard to find here. Well, at least the Tiptronic has some manual feature. |

Thanks Taek and Faisal! The first Faisal, to get the car into Macau, I will either have to ferry it over or drive through China. I think temporary licenses need to be obtained. Don't know if it's very complicated though. In Hong Kong, there are Tsing Ma and Ting Kau Bridges, which are very long suspension bridges with awesome views. Here's a shot of the TM Bridge.

Nice ride. I like that body style a lot. Enjoy! I see you're in Hong Kong...is it easy to get your car on the Macau-Taipa bridge? Is that as cool a drive as it looks? The closest we have in the states is the drive to Key West, which is simply incredible, especially at sunset. Rgds, Faisal. |

Thanks Rikky! It's a 91 with 4-speed tiptronic. I think it has 250hp, not as powerful as the Mondial coupe it replaced. But, at least it can go topless. |

Looks nice, I like the older body styles more than the new ones... what year is it? Also, what are hp figures, 4 speed or 5 speed? |

Just picked up the 911 cabrio (cream green on cream green!!) on Friday and got the usual fluid changes done yesterday. Color combo sounds weird, but looks quite nice in person. Took the car out for some topless driving this morning and got rained on with my top down!!! I didn't see rain clouds over me when it started. Fortunately, I got the top back on in time that only minor soaking happened. The sun did come out later in the morning and I was able to shoot some photos. Hope you enjoy them!!! The 456 is Ming's btw.
The carpet is cream green too!
