Kds, The point is not exactly to make money out of it. I'm hoping to get rid of it and making a friend or FChat member happy. Win/win situation. Same with the R1. I almost gave the bike away. The guy who ended up buying it would have been willing to pay close to 3 times what he bought it for. If nobody takes it I might put a stick on it and use it as an umbrella. Cheers |

Have you offered it to the local dealer ? They would probably give you what you wanted. |

Taek, you have an R1? As in Yamaha R1? Didn't know you were a rider. Let's go cruise Skyline before you get rid of it! Rgds, Faisal. |

Going the ghetto route again, advertising my wares on FChat. Close to the R1 deal though, so someone should benefit. Selling my Porsche Cabrio's hardtop. I live in CA and I was a fool for buying it because I never got to use it. I put it on once with my borther's help to see how it would fit. The process is not a one person process, so we took it off knowing my wife would not be too happy trying to lift this thing when the soft top would do just fine. When I ordered it from the dealer (at time of purchase) they told me it took a while to get here and that they would have to paint it the same color and all that. Bottom line he quoted me around 8k (I think I got ripped off now that I think about it...) which is around what I paid, if I remember correctly. Cabrio is being fixed but I'm shipping it to a friend in Asia who in return will loan me his 360, 575 whenever I'm in town. He doesn't want the hard top as he would never use it either. Purrfect for those cold weather states though. Insulates a lot of sound too. Comes with the funky tool to secure the top in place. Oh yeah, the top is black... Anyways, first 1k takes it. Cheers |
