Sean and Dave - I don't have an agenda! If my statements were incorrect, they were incorrect. Let's blame the press. Is that the liberal or conservative press? I can't tell them apart anyway, ha!

"Sorry, Rich, but you are altering history to suit your agenda."

Liberals will do that. One only has to look at the recent list of "banned words" from history books in California. Not to mention that many people still think the civil war was about Slavery and not States Rights, and Lincoln's main objective with the Emancipation proclamation was NOT to free the slaves.

Sorry, Rich, but you are altering history to suit your agenda.

The market peaked in March of 2000. At that point, Bush was merely one of many Republican candidates, and it looked more likely that the Dems would keep the White House with Algore.

So, your argument that foreign investors were leery of Bush is BS. Foreign investors (and many smart ones in the US) were leery that the whole dot-bomb thing was a shell game about to collapse...so they put their money where their mouths were, and made their suspicions a reality.

This "nut" WOLFE has alot to say.
His sci-fi 1950's mentality forever
posts are filled throughout the
O/T section. The world is to be
exploited by the USA. I am all
for that but; I do not think they
are going to follow along like a
bunch of monkeys.

I am conservative. I voted for
both Reagan and Bush. I have
"never" voted for a Dem. Reagan
IMHO is one of the best presidents
we ever had. President Reagan
ended the Cold War, strenghtened
our military, built or economy, and
took care of inflation. This guy
is beyond Battleship Diplomacy.
It is more than speak softly and
carry a big stick.

His mentality: If you are from
E. St.Louis and your daddy shined
shoes all his live, you should also
shine shoes. All of this for the
sake of his ( WHITE TOAST's ) economic
AND social prosperity !!!!! Everyone
is hear in the USA to help the WASP's
prosper. Kinda like Planet of the
Apes !!!!!

His world is collapsing and everyone
in the USA who is not White Toast is
at fault.

Is this a lunatic or what ?
This is 2003 (NOT) 1348 Europe.

Anyone "reading" and figuring out
his crazy posts ?

Someone said: "If Clinton's policies were so great, why did the bubble burst before he left office?"

I think you will find that the stock market and general economy collapse had a lot to do with foreign investors pulling their money out of the U.S. market. Why did they do so? Because the Clinton era was concluding and they didn't have faith in what was coming next. They didn't like Bush and didn't have faith in the policies he was going to enact. Why they felt that way and whether they were justified in that belief is unimportant. And yes, general economic trends influenced their pull out. But I think we often underestimate the psychological effect. Our current economy shows what happens when you have a leader who does not appeal to the rest of the world. It's a global economy guys and being acceptable to the rest of the world is quite important.

Whooooa little horsey. So what you're saying is, terrorism and global economic problems are all Clinton's fault???? Who's playing the blame game now? That's just as absurd as blaming Jews and blacks for all of our problems. It always confuses me when people say the economic boom of the 90's had nothing to do with Clinton's policies, but the 'horrible' economy that was 'handed off' to GW is a direct result of his actions (either that or the growth was due to the Republican controlled Congress, but the downturn was due to the the Democrat in the White House). So which is it? Did he or did he not affect the economy? It seems to me like Alan Greenspan and the dot commers had more to do with the boom/downturn than anything the president did.

I don't even know what to say about your assertion (a commonly held one among right wing extremists) that 9/11 was Clinton's fault. I suppose you also agree with Robertson and blame it on gays and the ACLU. When the Clinton administration launched missiles into terrorist camps, everyone says he was drawing attention away from the Lewinksy thing. Now those same people are saying he didn't do enough. Which is it? Terrorism has been around much longer than Clinton. Yet it's his fault we have terrorism now? I suppose the people coughreaganrumsfeldcough who actually gave the weapons to the same people who are now using them against us had nothing to do with it? I assume you'd say that at the time, it was the right thing to do to keep the commies at bay. No argument from me on that one, but now *all* of the blame lies with Clinton???? You're nuts.

It also boggles my mind that we're still heehawing over the Lewinksy thing. So the prez got some action. He's a pig, move on. "He dishonored the white house! he stained it with his disregard for decency!" Ok fine, but then I guess it's ok for a president to annihilate a sovereign government on false precepts, claiming that they're supporting terrorists.. meanwhile the crown prin..er 'leaders' of the country that really is supplying funds and bodies for terrorism (including 15 of the 16 9/11 guys) are having tea with GW at his home? Clinton had a sign on his desk "It's the economy, stupid." He had a focus.. Debt was down, surpluses were up, things were pretty good. What's our current president's focus? Saddam Hussein? why? One would think it's terrorism, but if that were the case, we'd be policing Saudi Arabia right now, not Iraq. It boggles my mind that you see the world so black/white us/them GOP/Dem ... it's not that cut and dry. All the bad things that happen in the world aren't the fault of the Democrats and liberals, and not all the good things are the result of the GOP and conservatives. Maybe one day you'll get it...

As for this Wolfe guy, I think Queen Gertrude had it right.. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" Jeff = Upload

Wolfe is constantly bringing up the 1950's as
the time America was at its best. This WAS the
age when we owned the world. The US was driving
cars that were getting 10 mpg and people (knew
their place) ~ (Hey if you worked on the line
your kids stayed and worked on the line).
If you were black you were supposed to shine
shoes like your daddy dad. You worked for GM,
you just figured how many years you had to complete to get that pension. NOBODY messed
with the US. NOBODY.

America ruled the world and the rest of the
Western world and Japan were rebuilding from
WW II. The USA had alot of products to export.
Why of course The Phillipines did not yet make
TV's and export steel to the USA. They were
still a complete basket case that could export
cheap toys at best. Europe and Japan were
living amongst the rubble from the war. The
USA had many industries left over from WW II
that were beginning to become antiquated. Japan for one; all of the sudden could get "more" production from its workers building cars than GM could. Unfortunately for us in the USA we had to pay $ to keep the commies and Joe Stalin from grabbing the free world. While we paid for worldwide defense the Germans and Japanese put their $into efficient industries that were geared also for export to the largest market in the world. We all remember seeing photos in the early 80's of steel mills in PA falling down after demolition.

See Wolfe wants to somehow go back to the 1950's
and close the USA to the "entire" world. Don't
laugh! Of course he does not have the balls to
say this. But he knows in his Wal Mart head
that the USA must stand completly ALONE. LOL

I also wish like him that the USA had (all) the
cards in its hands like the 1950's. We cannot
drop nuc bombs on the entire world and destroy
our economic competitors. Believe me that I am "far" more patriotic about the USA than he is.
He is nothing more than a bigot who has a narrow
mind of the world economy.

Never mind the fact that there is no way to
stop the world economies from evolving. You
and I know this but he does not have a clue ?
Wolfe is a loser who has begun to ((accept)) the
continual slide in life. He did mention how
he did much better in the early 1980's before
the Jews and libs began to destroy his 1950's world.

All of this losing mentality has forced him to
try and find SYMPATHY on this site. What to do
but try and find someone to blame. This is where he began to let everyone know about his
racist views. We probably all harbor racist
views to some degree. Perhaps Taek was brought
up to marry in an Asian home ? I was brought
up to marry exclusively a Jewish wife. I NOW
bring up my kids to marry exclusively other
Jewish adults later in life. Except I do not
wear it on my sleeve. I have other friends
that are not Jewish. My best friend is Lutheran.
See it is a taboo to wear it on your sleeve.
We all have taboo's that we keep amongst ourselfs.
Perhaps you have a sexual fantasy that you keep
to yourself ? Wolfe does not know about a taboo.
He has decided to air out all his dirty laundry
for everyone on the site to see. He is on that
downward continual slide and is even worried about becoming the next nightime partime manager of the local Wal Mart. Now he is going to show
how all minorities ruined his 1950's America to
find SYMPATHY on this site for becoming a continual loser.

While I don't normally comment on inflamatory threads, I can't resist this one. I find it very interesting that the two big selling books right now are sort of similar. One, Harry Potter, is about a young Wizard, and the other, Living History, is written by a Middle-Age Witch.

The balance of the Hillary bashing here is just that: no facts, all either lies or B/S.

Just like her book Art.

If Clinton's policies were so great, why did the bubble burst before he left office? Shouldn't his long term plan have just kept getting better? He lied, he cheated, he stole, and in doing said let the rest of corporate America think it was OK for them to do it as well. Now what have we got? A big mess to be cleaned up and 3000+ people murdered by terrorists one morning in September.

"Jeffie", thanks so much for proving my points 100%.

And no, I am not Jewish, nor were any of my relatives imprisoned or murdered by the Nazis. However, my dad won the Congressional Medal of Honor liberating Buchenwald & several other camps as the Nazis beat a cowardly retreat, trying to kill everyone in sight.

Again, thanks so much for proving my post 100%. Being inbred sure is hell for you, hmm?

Jeffery,
Thank you very much. As it turns out I did have the black and white reversed. No telling how much it would have cost me had I left it that way. Thanks for the extra effort. My panel just pulls out, didn't know your stereo would interfere, causing more work. On my very short list of virtues, patience isn't listed. As far as I'm concerned you came through. I apologize for assuming that you wouldn't.

Gee Mike.. after that I am not sure if I should have wasted the time to help. It turns out that I ahd to remove the front tunnel cover and my entire stero head unit to get accerss to the front edge of the panel you asked about. This is only due to my stereo unit face is motor driven and a bit thicker. So it took a day longer... Here you goUpload

Ralph,
Don't bother waiting. I started another thread here where I asked him a specific question about a Mondial panel. I had previously e-mailed him the same question and when he didn't respond, I posted it in OT where I was sure he would read it. Instead of answering my question, he and JRV got into a personal battle on that thread. He promised to answer it two days ago, but I haven't heard it yet. I don't care what opinions he or anyone else express or expresses here. I actually do value the whole F-chat site for the getting info I want or need. IMO it's kind of like using the service manual or a wiring diagram for my car. What you need is in there somewhere, but often you have to wade through a bunch of meaningless stuff to find it.
I do have to admit it is kinda of fun watching him get everyone so worked up over what has obviously become sport to him.
BTW, my Grandmother's maiden name was Ruberg. Long story follows after that.

Yet I have been called a varity of names... LOL.. funny how certain types always fall back on such things when they can't support an argument. Art .. you are correct we are so much better off now. Would you like me to quote you figures on innercity crime in 1955 vs today? How about production of US steel or crops? Drug related deaths, Divorces and Unmarried births? Yep.. we are so much better with our kids listening to RAp and acting like Wiggers. And we should thank the liberals for all of the really neat social programs that encourage the Ghetto to grow instead of going away. MTV ran a show a few weeks back that actually showed a black rapper (O.D.B. of the Wu tang Clan) that had just recieved an award for gold record sales. He was on his way to the New York Welfare office to get Food stamps and Check. In his LIMO. The mayor of New York got into that one. When they asked O.D.B. why he did it he said " why not.. free money is thge best" MTV aired this moment during a show of their wildest TV moments. Yeppers.. much better off now.
BTW.... Please show me the Factory you can get a 20 year carrer job at now in america. Most jobs will tell you that you will only be around 5-8 years. Walmart has 2/3rds of it's staff as only part time to save on costs. Oh yea.. much better.
Knowing what you are you have reason to dislike the America of the 50's. But at least we had balance and rules. People knew their place.

If Jeffrey liked the 50s, he and Trent Lott should have a lot to talk about: segregation, poll taxes, Brown v. Board of Education, House on Unamerican Activities. A great time in the USA: NOT.

As to those comments about Clinton not having done anything about the economy: Read Greenspan's book where he, Greenspan, attributes the great economic growth of the 90s to Clinton's decision to take the long term approach to taxes and interest, and pay down the National debt. Why to people, without any factual basis open their mouths to prove their lack of knowledge?

The balance of the Hillary bashing here is just that: no facts, all either lies or B/S. As to those who are complaining about the pardons: take a long hard look at those given by Reagan and Bush senior. Bush Senior pardoned people accused of providing weapons to those who used them to kill innocents. In my humble opinion that pardon sucked, but hey, why worry about the facts.

It's always convicted felons who are pardoned. I have never heard of an innocent person being granted a pardon. I don't think they'd need one...

Perhaps you meant that you didn't agree with his choice of WHICH convicted felon to pardon?

8-years of lying and cheating from the white house, 8-years of corporate greed which led to a collapse at year SEVEN, capped off by 8-hours or pardons for convicted felons.

It's amazing that people, who on the surface seem intelligent, continue to see the Clintons for what they think they are, instead of what they really were.

Art, i agree with you, Clinton did a great job for the economy

Clinton did not do squat for the economy. Why isn't economics taught in school anymore?

I've got to post a pic of my favorite t-shirt.
It says it all, bought it in Atlantic City during his first term.
Will try to photo it this by Friday.

Clinton embarrassed me and this country beyond words.I wonder if anything they said was true???

My 2 pennies worth.

The economy does not go up/down immediately upon a new presidents term. Bill inherited a good economy from George H., and George W. inherited an economy that was headed down under Bill. To say Bill was the greatest thing since sliced bread....ugh.

If Bill had spent more time in college inhaling and *NOT* getting sex....

"8 years of the best economy the country ever had."

Single-handedly, I'm sure.

"8 years of no major wars."

I was in two major offensives under Pres. Clinton on the same scale as Iraq minus some of the ground force. So much for peaceful.

"In general 8 years that were very good for the average American."

One good opinion deserves another, generally speaking. Just poking fun ;)

Leno had a joke, paraphrasing here:

Bill read Hillary's book five times, so he can make sure his facts matches hers.

Jeffrey, your posts make me think that you are a little more "old fashioned" than you admit. It appears that you are more enamored with an earlier time and in another place. Germany in the 1930's.

10. "At last we'll cut through the lies and get to the embellished, politically motivated truth"

9. "Do we get a discount if we've had sex with Bubba?"

8. "Hey, the Whitewater chapter is all shredded"

7. "Why ain't your husband king no more?"

6. "Hillary Clinton? Crap, I thought it was the new Harry Potter book"

5. "That Barnes and Noble cashier looks a lot like Al Gore"

4. "I hear the section about Bill is a pop-up book"

I'm glad to see that Ann Coulter's latest book "Treason" has outsold Hitlery's book at Amazon.com.

Treason is number 6 and Living History is 9 and dropping.

8 years that allowed terrorism to build up around the world. 8 years that allowed terrorists to attack US property/soil and kill US soldiers without significant retaliation. 8 years that allowed corporate corruption to go unchecked. 8 years that allowed the economy and market to grow unchecked, causing the eventual collapse. 8 years of having sex with interns and cheating on your wife. 8 years of lying under oath. Impeachment. Scandals. Health care fiasco. Too many to list. Great legacy.

Well, then, time has passed you by, I guess.

There's a lot of omissions in your nostalgic recollections but I can't be bothered to enumerate.

Let's get back to the original topic of this thread, the Hillary-ous jokes...

Faisal.. I willing admit that I am very Old fashioned> I beleve that the last great age for America was in the 50's. Family was strong. Liberals, gays and most minorities were closeted. Democracy and our country came first. Free trade ment you buy from us or else. Our industry was second to none and no american company would buy labor or steel from some 3rd world country at the expense of american workers. Gee.. was it bad for the blacks and others.. Yes.. but we were at the top of our game. YOu could start work at a plant and retire with a pension after having ahome and family. Your son could work where you did and make a career of it. Screw the rest of the world... We slept well and were safe. The class system gave you something to shoot for if you were middle class. People knew where they belonged. These are the values that I embrace and miss in my country. Civil Liberty that we have today were never envisioned by our founders.

Nobody likes to see a miscarriage of justice. But why cite the glaring exceptions and abuses to buttress your point? You undermine your own credibility by doing so. Kind of like saying we should abolish air travel because some planes crashed.

On the whole, welfare, social security, civil rights, and various other programs and tenets of our free and democratic society are good things. No?

Art, i agree with you, Clinton did a great job for the economy, but it's speculated that was a murderer, too... You just can't trust politicians, no matter who they are...

Faisal... I think that civil liberties are being abused every day.... but not by the goverment.. but by AA, Welfare, NAACP, ACLU, NAFTA,ADC,and countless others. A mexican can cross my border ( yes MY.. I am an American they are not) and give birth to a child concieved in Mexico. They now get a check every month from my wallet. A black person can smoke crack and resist arrest and win a huge settlement from the police. Another black man can smash an innocent White man in the head with a cinder block and claim it was caused by "black rage". You are damn straight I am against civil liberties.. if they only are for the low lifes that abuse my country and race.

ROFL.. spoken like a true Liberal from Calif. Bad leadership.. a weak military. More service men killed by lack of leadership and a contempt for the military. 911 was caused by how weak and badly America responded to events under Billy. Not to mention Immoral behavior in the oval office. Whitewater... and a new scandle every week. A strange death in the park.. the list goes on... And BTW Art... I did much better in the 80's before the liberals and the Jews damaged the middle class in America. Gore even said that Bill was the reason he could not get elected. Gee what a great leader..

Hillary's got this huge book, it's a memoir of her life and times at the White House. In the book she says when Bill told her he was having an affair, she said I could hardly breath, I was gulping for air.' No, I'm sorry, that's what Monica said." - David Letterman

"Hillary Clinton, our junior senator from New York, announced that she has no intentions of ever, ever running for office of the President of the United States. Her husband, Bill Clinton, is bitterly disappointed. He is crushed. There go his dreams of becoming a two-impeachment family." - David Letterman

"Last night, Senator Hillary Clinton hosted her first party in her new home in Washington. People said it was a lot like the parties she used to host at the White House. In fact, even the furniture was the same." - Jay Leno

"Senator Hillary Clinton is attacking President Bush for breaking his campaign promise to cut carbon dioxide emissions, saying a promise made, a promise broken. And then out of habit, she demanded that Bush spend the night on the couch." - Late, Late Show host Craig Kilborn

"Hillary Clinton is the junior senator from the great state of New York. When they swore her in, she used the Clinton family Bible. You know, the one with only seven commandments." - David Letterman

"CNN found that Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America. Women admire her because she's strong and successful. Men admire her because she allows her husband to cheat and get away with it." - Jay Leno
