On the track it must of been 40+ (100+ F)...... Would i do it again! DARN right! Strap me in.... Great people at the Bridgestone Racing Academy at Mosport! PS - Thanks Rob...but you have enough work to do - so don't worry about it

Nika, I felt the same way after my first day of racing school at Laguna Seca as well... I think the anticipation, enthusiasm and excitement just catch up with you on that first night. That was so much fun! Have a blast! |

Nika, I attended the Spenard/David Formula 2000 School in Shannonville Ont. many years ago. It was THE most fun I've ever had in three days. One of my instructors was a very young Ron Fellows. He was just starting to make a name for himself in the old Players Challenge cars. The Camaros(es?) with the "stock" engines and the Porsche brakes. My intention was to do some open wheel racing but I never got around to it. At least 80% of the school was in the seat. Thanks for sparking the memory. I hope your experience is as much fun as mine was. |

Yeah - I took a breather. Had some disturbing e-mails and thought best to "go away" for a short time. I resubmitted my info instead of asked Rob to reinstate my account because of the timing- it was a sad day. I'll post a pix of Mister Bumblebee to prove who I am - even a new one..... geeeeez - it's 5:30am and Im off to racing school....I couldn't be happier |

Nika, When I lived in France, I took a F3 course (got a FIA license), it was the best experience and most fun that I ever had. It was BETTER that sex! (actually, if I could have sex while driving the car...) Anyway, I hope you have as much fun as I did. Bob ps. I was in Montreal for the race and I looked for a yellow truck, but with all the people, it would have been pure luck to have found you. |

Think of every mile per hour as being hard earned money and you want to save every penny. Do everything in your power to not scrub off speed. That means slow steering imputs and easy braking. You will find yourself going faster. Have fun |

Na come on guys, she is the real deal I forgot but she posted some sort of explanation a bit earlier. Anyway, back to the topic. Congrats Nika! Im hoping to go to my first racing school in a year or two after I get some more performance driving and agressive driving instruction and so on. Keeps us posted on your progress. |

Pardon my skepticism, but I smell a rat. Why would Nika dump her account and her F-chat history?

She probably deleted her old account, and then decided to re-instate a new one... |

Why does Nika's posting indicate that she has only made SEVEN postings, when we know she has been on here a thousand times?

It's been years since I took a full blown racing school and well, never have learned in an open wheel car so when given this opportunity I couldn't resist. The F2000 (reynard) was amazing - it took a while to shift smoothly and blip (lots of practice in Mister Bumblebee)since I am used to babying it. Guys - how much fun! Even though I am DEAD to the world tonight (was about 95 degrees out in the sun) I can't wait for tomorrow. I held my own - kept it smooth. Any of you have open wheel experience? Any suggestions to make sure the rest of my class watches me from behind? I must be getting old - I am SOOOOO tired!
