Sounds to me, the drawbacks outweight the benefits... Part of the reason for owning a weekend car is to drive it at your leisure knowing you own it... There must be lots of legal factors and headaches involved, like who pays for wear and tear, accidents, washing and waxing, etc.. |

Tony, I remember reading on this board and elsewhere about automotive timeshares. In one example, there were several different exotic and luxury cars involved in one group. You might want to try searching through the archives or on the Web.
Just curious, why do you ask? Are you thinking of buying into one of these? Do you plan to start one yourself? What are your personal opinions? |
