The driver that spun the car at the beginning of the race is the same person who cut the tire by hitting someone towards the end of last year's race. Why doesn't he learn? You don't win if you spin or hit someone. I was hoping for better performance from both the cars and the drivers. |

The high humdity could of played a factor with the Ferrari engines.....all I know is there were a constant pain for the crew |

Nika, I almost forgot to add the Viking Tart to my post, so here she is! Back to Danica: you are probably right.....but I thought it was highly odd that the team pulled her out after a comparitively few laps, and put back in the car a guy suffering dehydration/nausea/borderline heat stroke. Hence, my comments. Now, for the Viking Tart :

They had some problems with their engines over the weekend.....the people on the team I talked with thought she was a fast driver. It's her first time in the car this week - so cut some slack. Bill Adams is wearing waaay too much make up these days. She's quite the intense racerchick - focussed and professional. Yes a very tiny girl but a handshake like a visegrip |

Damn, my 2-finger typing is "mediaocr, at best"... Should read "mediocre", obviously. Also, "then" instead of "them". And, man, one of the announcers, Bill Adam (former racer) tore Danica a new one for her comments about not having a clue about her lap times... Nothing sexist (thankfully), but more along the lines of "any serious racer runs pretty consistent laps in a tight range; for her not to know whether she was running 1:22's or 1:52's seems odd, at best" or something like that. The 1:22/1:52 comment was a direct quote from Danica. Again, Matt, sorry... |

Should be under Racing... Actually, it was an interesting race. The 550's were 2nd & 4th in GTS class, I think. Danica did mediaocr, at best (sorry, Matt) and was pulled from the car after a rather short stint. She them b!tched about how hot the car was, and how she couldn't figure out her lap times. The Cort Wagner 360 was t!ts up, and out of the race. |

moved to Off Topic. I fell asleep during the race, so I really can't comment as I don't know what happened. |
