Seen it myself on numerous ocations,and repaired on 2 different cars. This problem seems to be with the early cars only. Havn't seen any later ones with this problem. Lambo uses a loctight on the head gaskets (according to the manuel)Maybe it's an assembly problem..not enough used? |

I've never heard of leaking head gaskits either as a 'common problem' and I've worked on quite a few Diablos. Now chain tensioners on early cars is a different story.

I read that article also, and i dont know anyone who has suffered from these problems. Ive had 2 Diablos. a 92 and still own a 98, and both have been trouble free. I personally know 6 other Diablo owners and none of them have had these problems. They also are not problems that have ever been brought up on the Lambo List. |

Arnaldo, I saw that as well and also I was kinda shocked to see the info on the CAM LOBE wear on the later cars? How can that be....I love the Diablo and I would expect to see such problems on the early cars vice later ones.. |

I was reading from the "Sport Car International" Nov 2002, magazine issue that all Diablos head gaskets leak oil. Does any Diablo owner care to share on this bit of data? How true is this?, and How often does it happen? |
