Heard Dallas down is $10k and then you pay more when you pick the color.

DES, what's up? Yeah, we are going to get plenty of Gallardos. I can't wait until they get here. Probably sometime in late Summer.

It will take quite some time to find them at list price. Dont be mad Ernesto, if you pulled up at the dealer in your Poopra and they wanted to run your credit before you passed through the door!

I dont think the waiting lists will be too long, if any, on the Lambos. You will probably find them on showroom floors soon after the first ones are delivered at list prices, like the Murcielago. This is not like Ferrari where there are 3-4 year waiting lists.

DES, We are taking $5000 deposits for the Gallardo, and yes, we do give it back if the person does not want the car. By the way, if anybody is going to the Detroit Auto Show, we will have a prototype of a Lambo (NOT the Gallardo, though)in the Lambo display.

Des,

You can actually sell your spot on the waiting list. Generally, if the car is in great demand, one can profit from this transaction.

Hey, let me ask you serious owners/buyers a question: Let's say you put down 5k or 20k- whatever they want, and then you decide, down the road, that you don't want the car, when it arrives or before it arrives or whatever- do you get that cash back or do they snag you for it...?

I gave Nelson Lamborghini a call in Ohio and they have as of today 6 orders. They want $20,000 to be put on the list for delivery very late next year.

According to what he is hearing from Lamborghini, the car won't be $180,000 but $150-$175 tops.
