I was able to import just the engine and transmission. I tried to import the whole car but it's just too hard. Once in a life time exception law was expired long time ago like late 80's or early 90's. Engine is sitting in my garage in Lynnwood, Washington. It's cool looking engine based on 308 QV and I am trying to drop it into a Alfa 164 which is a sister car of Lancia Thema. |

I have heard of a couple of these that made the U.S. I believe they were both bought into this country by non resident aliens. One of them was kind of sold under the radar screen. You could use your once in a lifetime exception to bring one in. There is a fellow in Oklahoma City who imported two late models ALFA Spiders. He will get the paperwork and shipping handled for around 5K.
