Lung, follow this link

and go to the Products page.

I'm still undecided by the Tubi.

Cheers

hi guys,
Jim, don't think its the sensor...my friend Sam has the same car and has the same sound.

Alex, can you please tell me more about the chip? I am VERY interested.

I still think the hum you're hearing is caused by a faulty sensor locking on the second stage of your fuel pump. Second stage should only run near bottom of tank. (low fuel)
Best

Thanks, Lung. Apparently, this is a new version which does not hum as much. I'm not sure if the sound suits the car - sound is like a race car whereas the 3200 is an elegant GT. I'm getting mixed opinions but will have to make a decision soon.

Unfortunately I won't get the chance to try it at high speeds until I drive to Italy in the summer. I'm thinking of getting the chip modified by Digital Tuning - improved BHP and 20% more torque for not much money!

Alex,
well i thought i lost some low end torque actually...hmmmm but your comment about my auto transmission may be a reasonable observation.

I did however notice (so did my wife, now that must be a big change for her to comment) there was a smoothness across the power band. What I mean is that now that I have changed back to the stock exhaust, everytime i release the accelerator the car would "jerk".

I could also tell that the car did not "struggle" to get to the higher speed (above 180kmh). The car's power seem to drive effortlessly at 200-240kmh. Sorry have not taken the car to 280kmh yet...and probably will never.

I would really love to have kept it if not for the noise.
Do you hear the loud "humming" I was talking about? Maybe not if yours is a manual.

I'm trying out a Tubi on my 3200 (a new version) and I'm not sure about the sound (lovely but doesn't really suit the car). However I've noticed a big improvement in low rev. drivability. I know you have an auto so you may not have noticed it but (just in case) did you notice anything (other than the noise) when you tried the Tubi?

Thanks

Alex
