I recently saved a ratty spider from the graveyard. I need to know if anyone has a solution for the replacement of the EGR pipe that goes from the EGR valve to the forward exhaust pipe. The EGR pipe has a ~6" piece missing. It was originally that 'accordian' style of flexible pipe. If i could find it new it would be over $400. I was wondering what other options I might have. While at the junkyard a couple weeks ago, I noticed on alot of the new cars they use a stainless braided hose/sleeve held on with clamps in a situation like that. Any aftermarket sources for this stuff? |
