>>>There is a Dutch restorer that actually had a picture gallery of a restored HK-500 in red met. A beauty! I lost my bookmaks. I will make a search later.

That would be Amicale Facel or "Friends of Facel".

They are at http://www.amicalefacel.nl/ and the site is in English.

I love Facel Vega, but finding picture galleries of this tremendous body is very hard on the web.

There is a Dutch restorer that actually had a picture gallery of a restored HK-500 in red met. A beauty! I lost my bookmaks. I will make a search later.

Marcel.

Useless trivia: The "FACEL" part of FACEL Vega stands for "Forges et Ateliers de Construction d'Eure et Loire," which translates to something like: "Forging mills and engineering departments of the Eure and the Loire."

I saw one of those weird cars a few years ago at a local swap meet. It was powered by an early Chrysler hemi if I remember correctly. Strange combo. I thought it was ugly looking.
