I assume as these are the first official shots, that they will release more shots over time up until official public showing of the car. A drip feed approach to keep media interest

Why do you think there are no rear end photos of the car ? Not even on the Masarati web site .

It looks a bit too stretched (read: awkward) from the side view.

Anyone have any interior pics? Is it going to have the same powerplant as the current Maseratis?

Cheers

I saw a large scale model (probably about 4 feet long) at F of San Francisco recently. I think it looks pretty nice. If they price it right, it should sell quite well.

If they make it reliable.......it would be a nice alternative to the german autos. Most people would probably use it for a daily driver.......if it is reliable. Come on Maserati!!

I think it looks great ! I will be looking for a replacement for my daily driver M5 in a year or so. I wonder if it will stand up to 20k miles a year of Atlanta traffic ?

Hmmmm, the last Quattroporte was the best looking car I have ever seen, period!

Probably the ultimate angled/wedge shaped car and soooo elegant.

I think they have missed the uniqueness this time ...

To me, the first photo looks like it was inspired by a Buick. The side view shows Maserati heritage in the rear quarter. Overall, I think it will be all right and it will have street presence.

Looks very German. A cross between an Audi, with a bit of Jaguar thrown in...

My first thought was it looks alot better than that BMW. Acres of leather in there too. Price i think was in the 90 to 100K range.

Side profile looks OK. Hard to gauge how big the car is though. How about some interior shots?

Anyone know how much they are going to sticker this for? Is the Kubang also coming soon? Anyone know potential pricing on that?

Cheers

I think it, as would the coupe, look a bit better with more of a 275 GTB tail and spoiler and a A6gs, nose and grill.
The biggest problem they're going to have is the gear box. A full auto will not be availible. The cars this will compete with all have silkey smooth automatics (6 speed) The F1 box in auto mode is not very much more than a limp home mode for someone who can't drive a stick. I also doubt the box and clutches will stand up to stop and go for very long in auto mode. The smell of burning clutch will also overwelm the smell of that beautiful leather.

Cars will never look like the prototype due to crumple zones etc. However, IMO this looks a fantastic car when compared to a 7 series or S-Class. More exclusive more stylish.

Meh ! they killed it ! The model i saw at the Paris show was way better . It had an aggressive facia ! This one is boring , the wheelbase it way too long and the headlights are too small , makes the front look very large !
