He was actually shut down by the Feds for illegal importation. Which I believe let to the embezzlement charge. Evidently this guy was on edge of the law for some time and had done several other "funny" kinds of deals. |

I've heard about them in the Alfa circles. It sounds good, but I think the prices they were asking were a bit high. 320hp would mean some serious mods to the stock engine, probably reducing reliability. And, don't forget, these cars are FWD, so I imagine the torque steer would be horrendous. Also, if and when Alfa does return to the states, what would happen to the cars? I've also heard that they have since gone to jail, but don't know any of the details. Dom |

Mmmmm.... Don't know the guy nor the company but "no affiliation" yet using the original logo and name... Sounds fishy to me but then again... who am I? Jack |

A few months ago I thought about getting an Auto Delta. http://www.autodeltausa.com/ I talked to the owner, Alex(?) for a while. The car sounded pretty nice, actually. 320 bhp cup motor, Tubi, etc. He said he would give me a build order and deliver a cup car in 45-60 days for 53k. I came to find out during the Concours that he is in jail for embezzlement! Apparently he took lots of money and never delivered any cars. Is this true? He was hard to reach even before. Any one else hear about this? DL |
