Peter: "Ding-dong"!! That rings a bell.... I promised to make you a copy and then forgot about it five minutes later. That's what happens when you get old. I just looked in the file, and yes, I do still have one copy (my own). I will try to remember to take it to the copy shop this weekend. I still have your email stored with your address (from April!) Sorry, dude... |

Jeff, I just did a search on Ebay, but it doesn't want to go further back than Aug 27 and I believe the auction was before that. Yeah, I know of a Double Bubble up here, but its all in parts. Just like that Lancia Appia, if I had the room... . Speaking of which, I kind-of forgot about that Appia book of yours. Do you still have a copy? |

Peter: Interesting! I stopped following ebay about a year ago. The Abarth you saw there may have been the one in my town, I don't have many details at this point. I think I was told that the owner also has a bug-eyed Sprite. I'll have to re-contact the guy who told me about it - just for laughs, I don't want it myself. 20 years ago I would have given anything to have it! |

Jeff, I had been casually keeping an eye on one that was for sale (I forget where exactly) in WA that appeared on Ebay recently. Long time owner, etc... Sounds familiar to the one you're describing. The pictures on the Ebay auction revealed a pretty sad-looking car... |

Wayne: I just learned a few weeks ago that someone here in my little town has an Abarth Zagato that has been in his family for about 25 years. This might be my excuse to go have a look at it. Are you looking for pictures of concours examples, or originality/patina? It's my understanding that this example is quite original, and it's for sale. |

Rodney thanks! I'm looking for everything: close-ups, full shots, details, interior, front, rear, side, you name it. I will gladly pay for the film and developing. |

Wayne, I should be able to take some this coming weekend @ Italian car day in Grapevine. I know a couple of them that were planning on coming. What are you looking for specifically? |

Does anyone have nice, hi-def photos of these cars that you wouldn't mind sharing? Looking for pics from all angles. Please email me directly: [email protected]. Thanks! |
